I think you should try like 15 mins on & 15 mins off. It all depends on your medium to. I would recommend that with a medium like hydroton. Rockwool is different though because it retains water but it also would depend on the size of the rockwool that your using.

HEY HEY HEY you need to set your watering schedule to go off only three times a day and let it water for an hour each time. its best to just do 7 hours off 1 hour on 7 hours off 1 hour on etc... I have been growing out of the waterfarm for a while now and i am also limited on space and have found that arjans haze 3 is my dream plant

That doesnt seam like much water? Is this your own schedule, or something you read somewhere? Just curious, I would like to find a better solution than leaving them on during daylight hours. What happened when you first got the system? Were you using the 7/1 schedule right from the get go? Sorry for the all questions, Im just trying to pick your brain, lol..

The only way to have a short cycle like 2 mins on, 10 mins off, you have to get a special timer. From what I have gathered they are sold under the name recycling timers. Finally I can fine tune my pumps watering the plants. Im thinking about using a schedule like 2 mins, on 10 mins off. Should keep things right where I want them. You cant leave the pumps off for too long under that intense light. I once put an air pump on the wrong timer and after 3 hours my plant was wilting. You could probably get away without the timer at all, like I have been doing. As long as you dont let fungus and algae grow your fine. I have since been using H2O2 or Hydroguard to keep that in check.

My first batch of clones are doing great! New growth everywhere! The second batch of XL clones are doing great too! I noticed roots starting to form at the base of the stem. The leaves are slightly yellowed, so I know they are close to popping roots out of the rockwool cube. I havent decided yet where to put them. I'll have 9 clones ready to go in a few days. Im thinking Ill put them all into the new dark room tent I put together. How nice will that be? All females right from the get go! Where ever I decide to put them Im going to skip vegging and go right to a 12/12 schedule. Im not going to let them take over the tent like I did when I was picking out my mother(s). I cant wait, I mean I literally cant wait! I have nothing to puff on and Im getting anxious. Are the leaves worth smoking? I have a pile that I have been slow drying. I think I get a headache from them. If I do get a buzz its a short one followed by a headache? What do you guys do when your out of bud? Do you smoke leaves? Help!

I finally have the dark room ready to go, all I need is my plug adapter for the ballast. Ill start rinsing the hydroton now, you need to soak it in water with a ph of 5 for 24 hrs. Otherwise it will bring your PH up a little when you fill the system up.

Don't smoke the leaves, there's no THC and they;re filled with cholorphil which isn't good to smoke. One of the resasons you dry the buds is so you remove the cholorphil that's in it.

Puff you should try to get the recycling timer with the photocell option so it shuts off when the lights are off. Also you may want to keep the ballast on the outside of the tent in order to continue to keep your tents straight.

To me this is one of the best one & its digital. In price comparison with the C.A.P timer this is more economic @ $93.00. It gives you to grounded ports for two items that need recycling so you could control the watering schedule for both of your tents from one box if you wanted to.

He was watering 24/7 with hydroton clay pebbles & his harvest turned out great. Its just like I was saying it depends on the medium. Like in flood & drain growers who use rockwool flood 1 or twice a day depending on the size of rockwool.
Growers who use hydroton & nothing else will flood every 3 or two hours for the lights on cycle & maybe once during the night so the roots do not dry out.
