Had an emergency and had to scrap the indoor grow, so I put my best 2 outdoors, then took cuttings off them. While outdoors, they faced 100+ temps for 2 weeks, but were watered twice a day.
Now they appear to be facing what I would call "Genetic Degradation". What was once a top notch pineapple strain is now a scraggly POS. The cuttings rooted, but are extremely slow growing, thin branches, and zero opposing nodes.
Can the strong traits that made this strain attractive be restored, or did that go up in smoke with the heat?
Thanks!
