Royal Queen seeds Ice and Blue Mystic. Looking for opinions on if these are ready. Any help would be much appreciated. Sorry for the cat hair in the one photo! First three pics are Ice and the second three are Blue Mystic.

Definitely not, too many clear and I didn't see a single amber.
10 days min.

Trick for taking pic under lights - use the flash and reduce the exposure.

2 weeks or so than come back, if you harvest too early the shit will not cure and you will have a bunch of budds that smell like hay.

Been there done that.

Updated pics. Haven't noticed much ambering, but the are definately milky. I switched them to 10/14 three days ago in hopes of getting them to amber.

As long as they are mostly milky, you can cut at any time. Look for the pistils to recede. Quick-dry a sample when you think you're there.

So just looking at dates from the original post to this current one today(8/14), there's about 2 weeks plus that you waited them out, correct? I'm just curious as I'm in a similar situation and trying to judge my own. I have a 30x jewelers loop and a 60x shitty Eco scope w/light right now but I can't see shit with it yet.

Anyways, did you continue to feed during the 1-2 weeks that you waited these girls out, DaBuzzard?? OR did you flush most of the time??

I'm at the point where I think maybe mine need another week or 2 possibly but I've already begun flushing...Flushed 3 times so far and wondering if I should toss a little feed back into the mix...Maybe it won't hurt since it's mostly all rock wool and I've been on a schedule of FEED-FEED-FLUSH EOD-to-E3D.

I don't mean to hijack the thread or anything but just trying to figure if I should feed a little more...

Yours look really good DaBuzzard! Wish you the best of luck!!

Ty, you are definitely on topic. Post some pictures. Mine are flowering and I really want to get it right so I am watching very closely to see how people are examining their plants for ripeness. I think the expanded discussion will help OP, too.

From what I've learned, the amber trichs criterion seems to be overrated. It's more important that they be at least milky for the most part (I think like 80%). Also, the pistils should have receded and calyxes nicely swelled. If you're there other than the ambering, I'd say you're there.

I quit feeding them about 2 weeks ago and have not flushed yet. I have some leaf yellowing, especially my large fan leafs. I have removed almost all them know. I still have most of the smaller fan leafs, but they are getting lighter by the day. I didn't use alot of fertz on the grow so I don't think it will take much to flush out what's in there. I am going to flush them tonight and harvest once the soil feels dry again.

What you've done seems to have worked well for you, DaBuzzard. Much appreciated on the reply and I'm going to do close to the same...no feed at least. Just some flushing for now and wait them out a bit until I KNOW they're ready.

Thanks again bro, Ty

I gave mine a two week break between veg and bloom nutes. No real "flushing". They are in the ground, so ...
