Flowering plant smell in woods

So SWIM has one or two plants out in the woods near his house. He planted them around a big pine tree and the woods are filled with them. When the plant begins to flower, will it's smell be noticeable around the woods and overpower the smell of pine trees? The woods are about one acre big btw.

The plants are about 1 foot tall and are an unknown strain. He believes it is an indica strain though.

This is his first time growing.

You wouldn't be able to notice the smell until you're pretty close to the plant.

Why are you worrying if this plant supposedly isn't yours?

This would solely depend on if it's a stinky strain like rks or any skunk type, smell carries in the wind so it will be noticable for a few weeks, delay that police fund raising BBq til their cut down. On a side note pine firests are very acidic si tell "your" friend to adjust for this. Wink wink nod nod.

So what if they smell, you're not gonna dig them out, wait and see. With the pine trees it won't be noticeable and even if it would, how much stoners walk around those woods? If you're still paranoid, make bbq all the time when it's flowering :D

Damn, how I love being legal. Feel bad for all the growers who live in states whose governments still have their heads up their asses and refuse to see the medicinal benefit of using cannabis. What a shame!!

I just checked my ladies out in the woods today and with a slight breeze the scent was noticeable from at least 20 meters... All depends on the strain however and how many you have. I don't really have to worry about it though because my spot is well beyond where it could be accidentaly found.

Interesting read. Looks mostly legal, up to a point. And indoors only in some counties, outdoors only in others. Weird to see legalization shift towards heavy regulations like this.

Yeah. it is MOSTLY legal.....but one cannot just say "It is legal in Cali" that will give other the impression that if they come to Cali they can grow weed......but in certain counties/cities you cannot even smoke weed outdoors even if you are a medical patient
