As we know, it is "buyer beware", or at least "we" should know that. Unscrupulous sellers count on a (big) percent of cannabis gardeners being ill-informed.
So very true, they have a field day with growers buying into the hype. They have a wonderful scam underway and so many still don't realize it.

I think you're still confused and that's partly AN's fault apparently. In the video, that's Erik.. he' works for AN and is very knowledgeable about the product. Much more then the phone rep you spoke with. It's apparent in the video that those are buffers at work plain and simple. :)
Like I said before, it doesn't matter where your pH lands after you've mixed in all your bottles, it matters where it goes after a few days. Tree said his went to 6.3. That's not 'pH perfect' and that certainly doesn't sound buffered. The link I posted is to the label which shows nearly every element chelated. Why would they chelate and buffer? It's redundant.

I'm not sure what link you're talking about the one to icmag? or the one to the label. Btw, the one to the label clearly says pH balancing and stabilizing compounds.. looks like you proved our case.. :-P

Icmag.. have a handle there from 06'..
Is pH perfect allowed to be sold in Oregon? The only way to cut through the bullsh*t sales pitch on AN's site is to change your location to Oregon. In doing so, I could no longer find the label for pH perfect. I'm pretty sure the words 'pH balancing and stabilizing compounds' wont be found on any Guaranteed Analysis sold in the stores. If someone has a picture of their bottle, post it up!

I'm not in Oregon.. I don't see what that has to to with pH perfect clearly using buffers.. in the video I posted. Or the fact that the website link you provided shows what we've been trying to tell you this whole time..

Anyhow.. :-P

glad i've run AN for 5 years in both soil and hydro and never had any of these problems. some guys fry their plants with AN and blame the nute company. other guys have never even tried them and are just regurjitating what they heard from some guy at the hydro store or on some thread. the best are the guys who use 10 additives and turn their crop to dust and then blame the nutrient company. plenty of commercial growers and quality growers on this site using AN and none of them seem to have a problem with it. i know i don't. and i do it as cheap as most other guys using synthetic nutes.

It's the old school American way. I'm surprised these guys aren't trying to sue AN..

Your video doesn't show shit, its just AN's hype man hyping their product.
your straight brainwashed i use ph perfect and what happens in that video happens with me when i use it you never have to adjust the ph no matter where you start outta the tap. and that goes for days after you make a new res the ph stays stable at all times theres no drift

It's you're, not your. Punctuation and grammar help when you're trying to prove you know more than someone else...

I actually missed the perfect ph video the first time it was posted, i assumed he was referring to the bud blood video which is what this thread is actually about. My bad. As i already stated above, i don't have ph problems with my cheap GH nutes so i'm not all that excited about these AN nutes. Most nutes on the market are already chelated so they are available to the plant over a wider ph range. Also, there is no such thing as a perfect ph number in the first place. Different elements become more available to the plant and different ph levels, some minor ph fluctuation can even be a good thing. As long as your nutes are chelated and your ph stays in the 5.5-6.5 (for hydro) range your plants will be happy.

Or maybe you're right, i'm "straight brainwashed".

my fault i thought you were talkin about the ph perfect video. im not trying to prove i know more i was just saying the ph perfect works how AN says it does. im noticing some people are hating on ph perfect just because they never have to adjust there own ph themselves because of the kind of water they have. not everyones water is like yours and alot of people have to use ph down or up to get it correct or even below 6.5. you should at least appreciate that AN came up with a solution for pretty much anyones water. and also theres alot of additives and nutes that arent chelated. i dont even think any of AN's additives are chelated are they? at least fully chelated i mean

True, and I'm happy that you're happy. What was being argued by HB was that pH perfect did not have buffers. I simply posted the video to show that it is using buffers. Not for it or against it. Just pointing out the truth of the matter.

its also important to point out that they use a different type of buffers. its a new technology theres no drift, homebrewer said he didnt care that it balanced the ph he was more concerned with what happened days after and how far it drifted

Well then he's just splitting hairs then. Still can't admit that those are buffers at work. So now he wants to complain that it doesn't buffer the nutes forever and ever? Too funny. That's what all the rage is about.. cause they don't last forever?

I have nothing against AN's actual products per-say, some of there stuff is decent in comparison to similar products by other companies but the majority of their products are just gimmicks. What i dislike about AN is their marketing tactics which are geared towards preying on the ignorant to make money. It seems like every product I've ever read about from them promises some exact percentage higher yield, give me a break...

Trust me there are 100's of companies begging to be just like them. The industry is becoming like a car show and it's dumb. I agree with that and it's not only in growing, it's the whole life style. Look at the fools with 400 buck tubes, blow torches, and titanium nails. It's all hype. You have to ask, what made you think you need that? This is true with everything, from your cell phone, to your shoes.

Cyco? Who names their plant food Cyco?

Are you ready for Black Label nutrients? The hype machine is just getting warmed up for this stuff.. lol

Ok, here is the rub.

You take a, know nothing stoner, and give him a grow and the AN line done correctly and he'll out grow or come really dam close to beating UB and all his 800 years of growing. First run. That's what AN is for.

even though he's a proven liar i do admit that the question is real important cause if the nutes do drift at all even a week later than at some point you would need ph down or up. AN claims you never have to use a ph adjuster and they are 100% correct since it never drifts

i'd like the MOD or Admin who erased my last post to please explain to me why. you can send it to me in a PM if you don't want to talk about it on the thread. if you can't explain why you erased a post then maybe you shouldn't have erased it. you guys still holding grudges against me? that's some petty shit. it's the internet man. get over it and get a real life.
