I haven't ever had Cox Cable but I have heard they are similar to Time Warner. I don't think you know what good cable is since you have probably always had shit cable. I had FiOS and now I am spoiled.

Yeah DISH blows, at least it did last time I tried it. Sat TV is great for boats and when you live in remote locations but cable is usually much more reliable if you have the option.

My cable isnt reliable. If I actually wanna watch something, at the best part it will pixelate and freeze till commercial, and might not even come back on for an hour. Dish is actually worse I have heard, esp if the install wasnt done well.

I noticed that my undercurrent flow was not very strong so I drained the system and took apart the return line from the PVC pipes to the water pump and it was completely clogged with roots. I removed the roots and put it back together to find it running much stronger but very inconsistently. I drained it again and removed more of the black hose and I found more roots and 3 pieces of Hydroton!! After seeing this I decided I needed to check the PVC pipes in between the buckets and those were 80% clogged with roots!!

Holy Hell there were roots everywhere!

I need to put some mesh filters in between the buckets (like I have in the reservoir) in order to contain the roots to their own buckets but I can't do that until I harvest because the screen makes it impossible to remove any of the plants. One of the downsides to doing a SCRoG in such a small space.

My back will definitely hurt tomorrow morning but it was all worth it. Now that the undercurrent flow is back to full strength I notice how much it had slowed. It is like a whirlpool in there now and before it barely made a current.

Lesson learned: One more thing to keep an eye on - Undercurrent Flow.

Ah the fun of roots. I designed a similar sort of setup some time ago but I allowed a longer return area for roots to travel and hopefully stay out of the res and pumps and other things of importance. Unfortunately I never got to run it and that growing phase of my life ended. Maybe I'll make it again some day to try out.
