7/19/2011 Poor, Poor, Obama post65 Sounds like me you admitted being a mooch. How long do you think you can ride her skirt tail? Its going to hit you like a ton of bricks when she realizes she can do so much better than a treadmill dealer.
She only married him to piss off her father.

where was that?

was that when i said this:

I quit that job as i went broke working it, started to do my own thing. now i support myself fully and help cover some of the other expenses (my wife has a pre-existing condition, her health insurance is not cheap).

You were the guy bragging about living off your in-laws until you got called on it and suddenly attempted to change history...
again, i'm going to have to ask you to go find it and quote it.

little sock puppet gaylord did some impressive research and showed the opposite to be true. maybe you can take a break between mowing lawns and try to prove that you're not a whiny lying pussy.

you're smart.

just like the time you said my wife's severe menstrual cramps were just her excuse for not having sex with me. which is kind of hilarious, considering that not many women like to have sex while they are bleeding out of their vaginas you stupid shit.

can you see why i am so confident that you have never been with a woman a day in your nobel prize winning life?

you're pretty angry for a gaylord with a fist up his ass. normally a fist up the ass would make a gaylord like you happy as a clam.

what you just spent those 16 hour work days hunting down proves the opposite of what you set out to prove. i forgot that i used to help my wife with her insurance way back then.

Proving something to you would be a bigger achievement than proving something to a cactus. Not even going to try treadboy...

According to the Florida Strawberry Growers Association, farm workers earn at least the minimum wage. During the picking season, some workers can earn more than 15 dollars an hour, depending on the amount of strawberries picked.
A handful of locals have tried the job at Fancy Farms.
"I can recall one fellow. He worked a half-day. Another fellow, he worked two half-days," Grooms said. "One guy worked one hour!"
No one survived the job.
Besides the hard work, there's also a stigma attached with working in the fields. Campbell said that socially, some feel this type of work is beneath them.
In Grooms' case, his work force is down about 20-percent, but that number will get worse in the coming weeks when the season ramps up.
He's confident some berries will go unpicked this year.
"We need more people right now, but you don’t dial up 4-0-9 and get the people you need," he said. "You wait for them to just drive in and you hire them."

yes feild work is hard, bnut no, that story is a lie. field harvest day labour pays minimum wage in the same way the guys who are hanging outside home depot make the local prevailing wage for tile setting, carpet laying or roofing. the federal minimum wage does NOT apply to farm work, specifically and categorically. some states have instituted a "Minimum Wage" for farm labour but farm labour is almost invariably paid in piece work. harvest a bushel, get paid A, harvest B bushels, get paid A x B. farm labour is also almost invariably a family affair, with man, wife and kids as young as 8 picking together to increase the B number even the mandatory school laws specifically excuse kids who are farm labourers as do the child labour laws. the "Minimum Wage" for farm labour may be A minimum wage but it is not the wage most people are familiar with. usually it is a set minimum day rate, or minimum piece rate.

the "Minimum Wage" for farm labour is also for a "Job" that only lasts a few days to a week in almost all cases. then they gotta pack up and move on to the next harvest which could be in the next town, the next county or even another state. farm day labour is almost NEVER local county or state residents, they cant vote in that state county or city, so nobody gives a fuck about their lives, and they almost never pay local county or state taxes so their wages are usually deducted for the maximum allowable withholding tax, because th3ey never have a fixed address to mail w-2's and almost never file a tax return anyhow. particularly those who are not US citizens. maximum taxation, minimum pay, and since the field's harvest is what the farmer is taxed on he rarely finds himself in the position to remitt those "withholding taxes" to the agency that demand sit. he files a fiction that pays a pittance, and keeps the remainder.

dont try to start this argument with me, you cant win.

Despite all the complaints of high unemployment in California and suurrounding
states the farmers there are having to make very tough choices as to which crops
to harvest and which to let die in the fields.Despite raising their pay to $9.25
per hr. farmers cannot find people willing to pick their crops. The congress has
severely cut the number of migratory workers allowed in each year, to harvest,
resulting in dire labour shortages. Most of the workers they are finding are
elderly Mexicans many of whom have lived here for years, the stricter border
crossing enforcement has virtually dried up the flow of younger workers.

9.25 an hr in California would be equivelant to what in almost any other state? Like 22c an hour?

What does not working pay?
-0-

It SHOULD pay -0-. Unfortunately, our government steps in and pays them much more. So, your option is work all day, doing hard labor, for nowhere close to enough money to live on, or take the readily available welfare offered. To most its an easy choice.

If you think welfare is a great life
By all means
stop working now
