Hi All. Just joined. Glad to be here.
Just wanted to share my latest.
Background info first:
- Outdoor grow in 3gal pot.
- 12wk veg, 7wk (12/12) flower
- Germinated seeds from "accidental" pollination of female Strawberry Cough by male OG Kush
Trying "darkness" for the first time prior to pulling.
Pic 1 is at start of 6th week right after flushing.
Start of 7th week, one final watering.
Middle of 7th week, put into shed.
Pic 2 is end of 7th week, after 96 hours of darkness, going to pull.
I know she looks like crap with all the dead leaves but she smells awesome and the buds look great.
Some observations:
- All the fan leaves and tri-leaves have withered. The ones that haven't died are brown and easy to spot for trimming.
- When I opened the shed door, the smell was really good and really strong.
- The sugar leaves are curling upwards. The ones with really curly tips do not have as much trichome coverage. This might be a good way to mark where to trim the sugar leaves. I understand most people trim the leaves to be flush with
the bud but I'll probably keep most of these.
Now it's time to hang, bag, and jar. I'll let you know how they turn out in a few weeks.
Peace.
