Major problem with mold

So I went out of town for a few days and I came back and I have white powder mold over almost off of my buds. It is less than a week away from being harvested too. I was already flushing when I went away so I cut them and they are now hanging to dry. What can I do to get the mold off the buds? I read you can dip them in a hydrogen peroxide solution and then rinse with distilled water and let them dry again. I do not want my entire harvest to be junk, please help.

I have never had this problem but saved a comment from a guy a trust he wrote a long time ago.

Here it is

PREVENTIVE MEASURES: Depending on what kind of mold you have, you can take certain measures such as:

1. Spraying with a fungicide, such as Serenade (bacillus subtillis) or Bordeux. For powder mold the bible recomends spraying with a water mixture of baking soda and distlled water, which raises the PH to above 7.0 on the foilage leaf.

2. Lowering humidity to below 50 and raising temperatures to above 76.
3. Lots of air circulation

To Kill It:

Go to your local garden shop, or nursery, and buy a bottle of potassium bicarbonate - Mix an ounce of potassium bicarbonate in a gallon of water and 1.5 cups (12 oz, 340 grams) of milk—I prefer non fat, because it is less oily—but whole milk works as well.
- Spray on your plants or dip them in it. It kills the living fungus and the potassium bicarbonate creates an alkaline environment that hinders germination of spores.

Does it matter that is in on the buds and not the leafs? I have done a lot of searching online and some people say that if it is in the buds you do not want to spray anything because you will be smoking it. I moved them out of the growing location to dry just because I figure environment change is good. The head nug is like 8 inches long and the damn mold is inbetween every bend. I have no luck

Yes of course let it sit for a couple hours than rinse with water than dry and cure.

This might be a dumb question, but when i rinse do i spray the buds or drip them in the water? I was going to fill a small rectangle container with the baking soda and milk and dunk the nugs into it and hang. Then after a few hours dunk into new baking soda and milk solution, let sit. Then fill a container with distilled water and dunk. I do not know if i should drown them or just spray them really really well so the solution seeps down into the nugs. Sorry for asking so many questions
