Electricity charge!?!?!

So I have heard unless ur running a shit ton of lights, fans etc.. u wont get caught by electrical use. BUT my normal electricla bill is 80-90 bucks (not gorwing) but if i do grow i will be paying 237 bucks for leaving lights on at 18 hrs and 165 bucks for 12 hours of lighting. seems like a suspicious high jump....? Any insight? :wall:

lol maybe it just seems like a shit ton of money cuz im pretty much poor.... but still thats a big jump, your saying that wont look suspicious?

Varies by location. Some utilities will watch for such things and report it. While other utilities just want you to pay and don't care.
There are also locations where law enforcement officials sift through such public records in search of suspects. In these areas there are usually local media news stories on grow busts because the cops are proud of their work and want the more afluent part os society to believe they are doing them a great public service. They like to bullshit the public with details like how much a pound is worth but fail to mention that all they got were typical 2oz plants.

I really wouldnt worry, my highest electricity bill was over $10,000 one month a few years back, the electricity company is just happy to be making a buck off you. It would be bad business to turn in their best customers.

also watch how much hot water you use. make sure all handles to the sink are all the way down. you turn off all lights in the house. make sure you only use the electrical appliances you need at that time. there are also lots of people who have 400-500 dollars in electric bill who dont grow just because they are dumb asses.

thats funny...I remember my "former" sister saying that, " oh the cops wont care about busting you in THAT town cause the high crime rate, but in THIS town where nothing usually ever happens cops would be all over you if they got tipped off of a grow" And shes totally against pot and is married to a cop. Now that the info you just told me.....it makes complete sense now

hey your avatar pic ...is that pot? just wondering cuz it doesnt look like it but i have weeds in my outdoor garden that look just like ur pic. I picked them out but still dont know if it was pot, cause I planted bagseed out there and forgot where I planted them(more interested in the white widow and pineapple express I planted, lol)

lol wat are you running like 150 1000 watts?

150 1k watts, 150 kilowatts an hour,... 2700 kilowatts a day @ .12 cents per kw/h $324 bucks a DAY which is $9,720 bucks in a month.

Besides, that's 150,000 watts. Who the hell runs a setup that large? I must see pics of this.
