I don't think we get those here. I've noticed lots of cool things, like sporty Fiestas and tiny Diesel Toyotas, that feature on Top Gear (UK), but in California?? Fuhgeddaboudit. cn

in california? jdm is probably hugely popular you just don't know it. its an underground scene that is still pretty big still surprisingly not enough crashes have happened for them to learn. but me, i'm trying to stack for a silvia YOU KNOW. i got options to, ka, ka with the turbo, or bring it back to the original c18t, but if i get the s13 model i'm definitely gonna get the sr20 maybe who knows...........rb26? NAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. give me a couple months.

i'm still driving the 2001 hyundai elantra i bought last summer through a private deal
paid $1,500 and then $400 immediately after for a tirod/control arm
It's gotten me around NH last summer, then to ND, around ND all winter until May, then back to NH, then back to ND, then to PA and back to ND
Transmission will probably be the first thing to go but I flush it every 10k miles and do oil/filter changes every 2k
I doubt I'll ever pay more than 2-3 grand on a car. No matter what kinda car you drive it's gonna be a bad, depreciating investment so might as well get the most miles/best value out of it and so far I think I have

Underground scene? I cannot imagine that one can legally smog those. I'm not mechanically (or walletally) inclined, so I'll just rock along in my stone stock Mazda pickup. cn
