Grand Old Party's grand old contributions to freedom

DEAsert dude thinks that only a rightish interpretation of the document is correct.

Lincoln knowingly transgressed what he knew the Constitution meant to guarantee in a time when he thought it impossible to save the union any other way. He then threw himself upon the mercy of the country and the rest of government contrary to those who of late have violated Constitutionality claiming it to be their "right".

Here are all of them listed below.
I'd like to see someone with enough time to list all the laws and regulations that have slowly stripped away our liberties, a list from the left and one from the right.

There would be no comparison, I'm not saying the right is guiltless but the left has an overwhelming lead in this arena!

I would suspect that the two lists would be almost the same. The difference is in context. To the right, these liberties of the individual are the alpha and the omega, the wellspring of all human goodness. To the left, they are part of this complete breakfast, which includes into the top tier illiberal ideas like social responsibility, or the parity of individual and community.

I also note that you are once again rockin the Twin Towers. cn

Shall we look only at rightist activist judges? If we do, I can assure you that the right is way high up there on the anit-liberty count.

Well, everyone has an opinion.
I don't think there would be comparison myself.
And I have no idea the meaning of your rockin the twin towers comment?

Your comment doesn't make a bit of sense my friend, sorry.
to anyone who watches the court, it makes perfect sense. How about just one example? The fact that anyone who is arrested for any reason, even someone who is falsely taken into custody is now subject to a body cavity search. didn't get that fix it ticket done? Didn't get that abstract because you know the court has issued a false warrent? Refuse to sign that ticket out of outrage? Public intoxication? Wellcome to the strip search and asshole brigade. complements of your conservative justices who havn't seen an individual liberty they liked since they took their chairs.
