How you doin RIT I was wondering if a plant can get nute burn from too much potassium silica? I have been feeding about half strength of dyna grow silica and I noticed a few burnt tips on some of the girls that are still vegging but not sure if it can be the silica? I have these in ff happy frog soil so no added nutes just silica (1/4 tsp per gal H20) and organic bat guano half strength (about 1/2 tbsp per gal of H20? Any help very much appreciated thank you!

Honestly I dont have a ph monitor so I dont check the ph. I am using tap water that seems to be working ok so far. It is pro-tekt silica. I have a few strains that are doing it. The ones that look most affected are the cinderella 99 and girl scout cookies. Thanks for your reply guys I appreciate it

What brand or kind was this?

Not sure if it should be 1/2 tbsp per gallon everyday. If it's Mexican Guano you might be over doing it.

Water these plants with the “tea” at least once a week and no more than three times in a week. Three times per week would be considered an aggressive feeding for indoor plants

An OD of ProTekt doesn't look like nute burn, more like you dumped salt water on it.

I do 1/4tsp/gallon once/week .... now. If you are near that, it's not the ProTekt. If you are doing more than once/week, maybe.

I'd look more at the guano/nutes.

That's about what I do, 1/4 tsp/gallon, every watering, but I water about once a week. Same with the guano.
