Is the Statement true?

"If there is green there is life"? Is this true? I have a mother plant that got too much heat and is now in extremely rough shape....it may be dead? But there is still green in leaves and stem is green? I flushed and got rid of excess nutes I used(which may have accelerated the problems I was having), but I only gave the plant 50% mix of Thrive red B1? Its a 1-1-1.....so was assuming it would be pretty tough to get nute burn from 1-1-1? What I need to know is this: If my plant was dead....there would be no green correct?
re so, topped this plant as the top leaves where dead.......
Will try and post a pic later, but it looks too bad in pics!! lol

Thanks for any help!! Greatly appreciated!
Sorry about huge pic!
Is this dead? Or worth trying to recover? Has anyone ever see plants this bad come back?
Thanks again!!

Pics or no guess from me or most who might know. However dead root systems cannot support living tissue.

it will live if you allow it. it will take about a month to look like a plant and maybe 6 weeks before ready to flower.

OH MY GOD TY!!!!!
I have just been feeding e her rain water, and has been about a week since this happened and I flushed....Have not seen any new growth at all in that week...that's why I was getting scared! I realize it will take a while to recover, but was getting nervous it was dead! Rather than throw a bunch of nutes, mag, and other potions, I have been just letting her recover......Thanks again to all members here! Cheers

what'd she get burned with..............a flare?:)

Indoor grow box.....its great when its open...but had to go stealth and she got burned! However I hear a great number of people saying keep your lights within 2" of your plant......not in my case! That's what burned her!! I have a bunch of cfl's totalling about 120W.......and they burned her! Mind you this was a female clone that was started on 1000 MH, but was at the edge and starved for light......then I hammered it! Damn!
Thanks guys!
Have since moved her back from lights, and fixed ventilation....Cheers!

It won't be pretty for a while, but she'll survive.
Don't pull anything off, just leave alone and she'll shed the leaves when ready.

A female I neglected with improper airflow, and being shaded from higher canopy plants was a pitifull sight (not as much your sorry ass plant) when noticed. There was little green, and the weakened state had mold growing up the stem.I used hydrogen peroxide with a q-tip to wipe down stem.I made a cotton ball bandage to keep mold at bay.I only trimmed completely dead leaves.I ph flushed, and replaced nutrient at 50% of my normal strength solution.I put her under a 19 watt 6500K cfl at about 5" away.3 wks later I was able to take 2 cuttings for my cloner while she still recovers.

Make sure your soil is aerated with good drainage.Moist aerated soil is important especialy for your recovery efforts.
Good luck.

I have been foiler feeding(misting) with rainwater 3 or 4 times a day....without being in light....that cant hurt can it? Also this plant has been on 24/0 since inception, do you think I should give it dark time to recover? Would it help?
Thanks Dalek.....I invite all input guys!! Cheers!
