So I have a stoner question. I hate where I am living and want to move to Cali, somewhere near the ocean. Anyone know anywhere I could go? And maybe a job I could get when I get there? :-) Thanks?

Mate, the job comes first. Everything else follows.
However, I can definately recommend moving on in life if you feel the need.
The important thing is making new friends. It can be lonely for a while.

The coast is expensive. If you have the money ... anywhere you want. If not, Stockton and Bakersfield beckon. Jobs are a dime a dozen if you don't mind part-time work at or near minimum. cn

Alaska. Work the North Slope 3 weeks and home 3 weeks. They fly you both ways. No AC and my grow room easily stays 70-75 with opening the one window.

I've never been to Cali my friend, but this looks like a harmless place for someone with a stoner question. I met a family from Sacremento once and only got to spend a couple of years knowing them. He informed me of the canal city there. good luck . :eyesmoke:

As an alternative to Cali, you could consider Basque Country (actually a region in Spain/France, but they consider themselves to be separate)...climate is very similar to NorCal and the people are chill and weed-friendly (especially in the Spanish part). Its a lot like California, except not so Americany and crowded.

I think I've done about 5 major moves in my life.
Some worked out better than others.
Berlin was a big F%ck up. (I didn't speak German LOL!)
However, it's all life experience.
Every few years I visit my home village and see my old friends. They all still go to the same pubs, work in the same factories and do the same things. Married to schoolmates etc and I think to myself, 'thank god I've at least had a life'

The S.F. Bay area is pretty good, if you get on the east bay side, you actually have a bay real close by, kind of buffering you from the wind that comes off the ocean.
I lived on the east side for 30+ years, and was nice being about 1/2 hr away from S.F. and the actual ocean, but having more sun and warmer weather than the city.
You can find lots of areas around there that the cost of living is cheaper than Malibu, Pacifica, S.F., San Rafael, etc.

If you want to live by the ocean and have a decent job, then i would reccommend the Orange county coastal cities. Fort Bragg is a super stoner coastal city in Mendicino county. I dont know if you can find work there. Monterey and the central coast will reqire a 6 digit income. Good luck.
