Roots; Organic Potting Soil

Have you used this before? I used to grow with fox farms ocean forest and i noticed i always got lots of pests due to it being gathered from the wild, like gnats and lots of little crawlies etc. Im trying to find something sterile to just avoid that whole thing. Anyone have any experience with this?

Never had a bug from ff, but roots 707 bag was nasty as shit. That was loaded with bugs nats mites and a random ass spider. Never again will o go roots. Just my opinion.

I got lots of bugs from roots organic soil, I mite of even got root aphids from a bag of roots organic,

Ocean forest and happy frog do seem to have fungus gnats some times. but not as bad as roots

Anyone have a nice soil thats sterile in mind? I want pests out of my garden!

Nope 707 had enough bugs init to just make me never think of them again. Like you ive never gotten one bug but in foxfarms soil I havnt gone thru 20 bags but out of the 5 ive used of lifht warrior and ocean forrest have not had one bug problem.

just a quick thought, the fact that a bag of soil, regardless of brand, has some bugs in it may not be attributed to the manufacturer of the soil, but possibly where the distributor stored the bags, or in transport, bugs found a small hole, layed eggs in the bag.

Im not sure, but im just going to go with FF light warrior, never tried it and sounds better than the ocean forest.

Roots is similar to FF . Most of roots soil has compost in it, anytime you add compost to a soil you will have bugs. If your looking for a premium soil with no bugs, try Black Gold . There are a ton of premium soils on the market, i have just listed one.
