Maybe not, but some do....do you believe in the argument of the "just" manYou really expect him to understand that reference? (pardon my cynicism)

I'm not quite understanding your question. At least I'm assuming it's a question. It's a philisophical debate not a belief system. Are you asking me what side of the debate I favor? And what does this have to do with Diogenes and his humble abode?Maybe not, but some do....do you believe in the argument of the "just" man
Thank you for your response. I agree morality is very subjective, the reason I asked....you {by way of your posts} seemed to be well read and educated, and I just wanted to pick your brain. Thanks again for answering.I don't have a "side". Morality is subjective. One man may consider an honor killing a moral and just act. While another may find that abhorrent. I can only follow my own moral compass which has a heavy Mormon influence. I consider myself a Christian. Others will say I'm not. Who cares? I live my life with strong ethics instilled by two loving and accepting parents. I do my best to stay in line with the teachings of my faith. I may drink a bit and cuss a LOT and occasionally I'll get a little risqué. But I have a strong foundation and at my age I don't worry about straying too much.
As to what others do? It's not my place to judge. Only a mind reader can truly understand the motivation and needs of others. An evil man can do a just act. A just man can do an evil act. It depends on the circumstances. I leave the judging to my imaginary sky god and hope for the best. I follow the path of free agency. I live my life to my moral standards without interfering with the free agency of others.
Maybe I do have a side.... hmmm.....
Imo Carne's one of the good guys here. Approach him with respect, and he can surprise with his hospitality. cnThank you for your response.
