Right right, people never do wrong things when they have government at their backs, never ever happens.

But racism - it does not happen in mainstream public schools. Perhaps it happens in selective schools not subject to national guidelines, but not in public education. I can assure you. A teacher would indubitably get fired even having brought it up. No teacher these days would risk it if they understood the consequences correctly.

Ohh how silly of me, of course the school board is a much much better parent than a parent.

If a biological parent feels like they would provide a better, more substantial education than the education that student would receive publicly, have at it! It's your right! But keep in mind, if you teach something unverifiable or unsubstantial, you have to deal with the consequences of what might/could happen.

This is all done to perpetrate a liberal agenda. We need diversity and retroactive compensation for deeds which happened decades to hundreds of years before we were all born. The public school system is a failure because it teaches even if you fail, you can blame a white dominated culture. We no longer teach it's the individual who fails.

There was a time Asians were persecuted and given special treatment to say we're sorry for Japanese interment and Chinese Coolies. Even though they were given the victim mentality, their culture rose above their purported socio-economic challenges. Now Asians are treated the same or more restricted than whites. They worked hard and now they have their previous liberal granted privileges taken away. But races who keep playing the victim never get ahead. Maybe those races are the smart ones.

Economic disadvantages and poverty don't treat their members with special treatment. It takes a racist government to do that. No matter the intentions, it's still racist. It's like white poor people don't exist, who have challenges getting out. The fact they're poor is the reason, not the race.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, are you saying you read a story in one of the textbooks that was half in Spanish? (what is 'Mexican Spanish'?)

And unless you bring specific examples, I can't really comment on what you read or were obliged to teach. I grew up in the California public education system and from my perspective, and many others I know, it's completely Eurocentric. Not 'racist' mind you, just heavily focused on Europe and European culture. This would make sense considering our history.

Again, I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about, I was never taught or told about compensation for the white mans past deeds. You seem to be commenting on a part of history pre-civil rights era.

There's at least two versions of Spanish I know about. Castillano and Espanol. Castillano is the original from Spain. Espanol is what those in South America and as far north as Mexico use. Costa Rica and Mexico use Espanol but, even so, theirs has differences which makes the people from each country hard to understand eachother. It's like how Americans have a hard time understanding Brits, I have to turn up PBS shows to understand and pay very close attention. Or how in Liverpool they say 'enery rather than Henry.

There's this mixing of languages called Spanglish, there was even a movie with the same name. Spanglish has no place in public school, like used in the English class I taught.

This is a weed fucking weed forum, not English class, I shouldn't have to explain myself. Even the robot Chesus understood. My bad, if this were English class, I'd have to be all PC and throw in a bit of Spanglish. So Vato, you got it now?

Even 16 years ago they attempted to brain wash me. I took an AP Civics test. One of the questions was about pretending I was Rosa Parks on that bus. First of all it was a Civics test, not creative writing or a college ethics course.

They also went over Japanese compensation to relatives for the concentration camps. Where is the a Japanese compensation for my grandparents for the attack on Pearl Harbor? They lived in Hawaii during the attacks.

People need to get over the past and move on. When white guilt, white priveledge and affirmative action are gone I'll get over that past too. I won't hold a grudge like you liberals do. Buy I won't stand by idle as it's currently going on.
