Lets say a person has diabetes at 62 and has preventative health care that allows them to live another 30 years. Now, add up all those associated health care costs and the eventual huge bill at the end of the person's life and YOU HAVE SAVED NOTHING WITH PREVENTATIVE HEALTHCARE!!! YOU HAVE PAID MULTIPLE TIMES OVER THE COST OF AVOIDING IT!!!

Preventative care is great if you are an individual. It is not logical if you are referring to a group of people who will inevitably get sick and die... You are simply multiplying the costs. THERE IS NO SAVINGS!!

It sounds like the compassionate thing to do but it will bankrupt the country as preventative care just multiplies the cost over the rest of the patients lifetime...
