Does this look right? I planted it a few days ago and it never broke the surface of the soil. I softly dug the soil to check on the development of the seed and I found it had quite a long root and as you can see, has started to develop tiny leaves I think. Anyhow, this entire thing was under the surface so I re-planted it as it is in the picture because I was worried it might die if it wasn't able to break the surface. Advice please!!! Have I done a silly thing by re-planting it like this or is it meant to be above the soils surface at this stage?
