To anyone whos grown these, I only have room for Ace of Spades or Space Dawg. I couldnt find smoke reports on these. I could get both but I wont be able to pop both packs. Which one is more potent of the two? What are the odds of getting the pink or purple pheno on the AOS?

grew a 5 pac AoS this summer, 1 pink female, 1 purple/pink female, 1 green female.

I'm growing ace of spades now from a cutting a red one. It's heavy with buds and I took cuttings it's a keeper.

i would go with spacedawg, ace of spades is bred with BCS which is herm prone, so offspring will likely be herm prone. if you want plants that smell like berries/jam/cleaner/skittle/candy, go for AoS, its got a good amount of sativa effects with indica influence in the high, hard to describe but i would say its "happy weed". took a sample last night of the "Mrs. Clean" plant, aka berry/cleaner smelling pheno, no nanners and very good calyxe/leaf ratio(almost no leaf on buds make an easy trim and cure.) both of my purple/pink phenotypes have shown the tendency to shoot out male stamen that are not sterile(in my tent i stress my girls ALOT with movement and everything else besides light leaks so it is not likely you will get a hermaphrodite). be sure to use Dutch master reverse prior to week 4 to keep them away for good, otherwise, respectable yield, good potency and makes a nice headstash. my GF thinks its the best thing i've grown, i know it isnt even close but they are some pretty looking plants for sure once they start purpling up.

go with spacedawg i just started my 3rd aos grow if you like color youll get it the high is pretty good too but i think spacedawg might be more potent

but noone has actually smoked the spacedawg?? nightmarecreature id say wait for someone who actually has grown n smoked both.. even then its that persons preference.... id say get a 5pack of both and YOU decide! much more fun that way too lol

I grew ten Vortex. The best pheno, I would rate it an 8 out of 10. I trust Subcool and $75 for 10 seeds is not a bad investment

I've got a Spacedawg at 9 wks today. The top looked good a few days ago so I chopped that, the lower stuff doesn't look like it will put on much more weight though. Buds seemed fluffy until wk 6 when they began to beef up, very frosty and sticky, nice smell, decent "medium" yield of fairly dense buds. Quite a tall plant, I have another one a couple of weeks behind this one, seems similar in phenotype and it was topped.
Early, uncured smoke test was harsh with a bit of flavor behind it, noticeable stone with dry-mouth- should cure up nicely.
Ace of Spades- tried 2, got one to germ, male.

I popped a 5 pack of spacedawg in two sets the first 2 were both female. The first was kinda slow to veg flowered for eleven weeks and ended up with a very nice chem smell and flavor. Extreme cotton mouth great workable high u feel baked but not tired. It was topped and tripled when put into flower. The second seed seemed to b stagnant in veg and seemed like it wouldnt grow taller then 6 inches so i through it into flower and is about 18 inches from the top of the pot, but three weeks into flower and it is already producing sugar out onto the fan leaves and has an amazing lemon chem smell. It will prolly b fire but its not an easy one to clone so hopefully it doesnt herm when i try to reveg. Out of the last 3 seeds 2 survived r veggin nice and hopefully end up being females and r easier to clone. Spacedawg is def staying in my garden its just finding a pheno i can work well wit and enjoy smoking.hope this helps happy growing

I just finished my second grow ever. It was AOS, Blackberry Haze and Sour Jack. I popped 5 AOS, drowned 3 and 2 grew out beautiful and healthy. Of the 2 survivors, 1 turned into a handsome male, which I chopped. The female smelled like cherry chapstick in veg and early flower, switching to a tropical berry smell at the end. I chopped her at 70-72 days. Yielded 50 grams under 400watts CFL, vegged for 5 weeks. She cured into dense, colorful, gold, purplish, and light green buds. The high was balanced leaning towards a relaxing, upbeat high. You can smoke for hours because its a pretty smooth smoke.

Potency for me was a 7 but non regular smokers were crushed and stopped smoking for the rest of the night after 4-5 hits.
This is my brothers favorite smoke. No hangover, no burnout feeling.

My very first indoor batch, I drowned. The bottom holes were clogged so wasnt releasing water. I didnt try to save them, I just cut them down and started over. Lesson learned. Now I drill holes on the side near the bottom to ensure I have good drainage.

I meant I drowned the seedlings in seedstarter/pitpot type things but two survived. I germed the other two strains in wet paper towels on my stove and transplanted them into 3gal pots.

smoking some Aos right now, i have 3 females, each their own phenotype, the most bcs dom(what i was interested in) was very... calming, not much of a "High" it was pleasant and happy, with some head effects, find myself lost in thought yet lucid, but not stupifying no matter how much i smoke, so i guess i can say it has a ceiling. looked great and smokes well, flavor and potency are acceptable, the yield was less because of stress at my fault but i can say overall its a solid 8/10. it shows it can intersex aka create male stamen in flower, under stress. i did not have a ordinary harvest to test as a control group because of time constraints and i didn't find what i wanted in order to make f2's of this variety, it needs work imo like f3's or f4's of a dedicated phenotype.
