What Do you drive ? JDM ?

By the way, is it the s2k with 220hp? Coz that's pretty low for the setup you have, or did you mean kw?
well the last time when i had the dyno it was 220hp without the [FONT=Tahoma, Calibri, Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif]Haltech computer,XForce exhaust and the 600cc injectors.

I'm i got a problem with the s2000 at the moment, It's not pulling as hard as it used to be, normally I would hear the turbo over the vtec but now the vtec kicks in harder then the turbo and can't really hear the whistle and only boosting about 8-10 psi.
 
It's a whopping big turbo for a 2 litre engine, does it lag a fair bit?

As far as power goes I thought at s2k would have more balls than my R34 but my R34 is putting out around 220 with only exhaust and intake mods. Still I love the look of your s2k, one of the best looking s2k's ive ever seen, just love the colour.

it had quite a big turbo lag, the first time i got it without half of the mods etc, now just a bit of turbo lag but no compression surge at all which is great ! and nice got any photos of your r34 ? what mods ? and thanks !

edit: Oh wait ! I just checked my dyno paper from april and its 240kw at 320hp my mistake, looked at my older papers and forgot about this one.

Yeah wiz was going to say if you are only pushing 220HP, is that at the crank or the wheels?
And your car isn't pulling that hard anymore?
I'm running an HKS BOV. No surge here.
I had the same problem, was losing boost and didn't pull hard for shit noticed I was losing oil turned out the head and block was cracked.
Upgraded and bought the ported Cosworth head.
Check your oil and if you're losing some then its time to inspect for leaks/cracks.
 
Used to have a 89 FC Rx7 and a classic 86 mr2 but now I'm straight vdubbin... Got a slammed mk2 jetta
 
Daily--300k+miles crome tuned 94 civic hatch vx dropped with 1999 B18C1 swap, 2.5"exhaust, black leather, 20% tint and AC that will freeze your face off.

Weekends--200k+miles hondata tuned 94 civic hatch si not so dropped with built 1997 SOHC F22B block, ported/polished head/manley +1mm valves, JDM H22 Tranny, 57 trim T3 garret turbo, old school greddy bov, turbonetics wastegate... yadda injectors, blah blah flywheel/clutch yadda yadda.... never ending project... :cuss:

Awesome man... Love the Rexies.... Not much a fan of the new 86's. Such a lacking in power, they really coulda and shoulda come out turbo'd or something.

haha i reckon ! i wouldn't mind chucking in a greddy bolt on tho.
but apparently subaru is trying to release a sti version of the brz with a 2.5l turbo but toyota is denying it, not quite sure haha.

might be getting the bmw x6 for the family soon. V8 Twin Turbo Baby !
 
I didn't read one page of this thread and probably glad I didn't. Read the title and had to comment. JDM is Japanese Domestic Market. We don't get those cars here. They are in Japan. Your Honduh with the fart can may have been built in Japan 18 years ago but it was built for the USDM. It's not JDM tyte y0

So what if the car was built for the JDM and then shipped over for a specific owner?

What about my R34? I imported it myself straight from Tokyo, how do you know others haven't done the same?

Had you actually read the first thread you will see that people can post up any ride bur the OP was asking if any one had anything JDM as well.

Even if it just came out with the EJ25 without a Turbo i'd like it 2000% more.
 
just found this thread...

as you might have guessed favorite car`s are 86`s.. so hand in hand a drift nut aswell, had them all over the years skylines r32 33 and a 34 that had a hum hard stop one day.. ae86`s 7 in total, standard 4age`s and tweeked 20v`s and even a turbo`d n2 hot version..

built an sr20`d ae86 for drifting and with the r33 gearbox and vannette axle it was the best, most re-liable drifter i had, shame i sold the thing..
