This is the time of year I really hate working 40 hours a week, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

The last two days while I've been slaving away cutting meat, my girlfriend and younger brother have taken down LD50 #7, and the Bubba dom. pre98 Bubba x Querkle.

We had to take these plants down about a week premature because the mold was being generated by these plants, now that its here I really have re-thought my outdoor scene for next year, thanks to advice from KK and many other nerds on here, and also from reading through this thread https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=159846&highlight=tomhill

I've realized my biggest mistake was planting all these super dense indica dominant strains and relying on them to be large producing outdoor plants, and mold/PM free.

Now I realize all these strains I've got right now are really awesome genetics, but 75% of the them would to a lot better indoors... Outdoors they are just mold magnets because of their density.

The last week has been real foggy and wet at night, which has enabled the mold to start growing, but the next weeks forecast has 80's in it so we will be letting the other pre98 Bubba x Querkles go a bit longer, they still have a lot of white hairs and are really getting a beautiful purple color to them..

These are the ones that are slowly getting a few spots of mold

I have cut the moldy spots out and will spray the rest of the plants with Oxidate to slow down further botrytis growth , this warm weather for the next week should really help as well to curb the spread of this fucking vial horrible fucking most hated shit they call mold!!!!!!! sorry I really fucking hate this stuff, as i'm sure all of you do as well.

On a lighter note, the Romulan is really starting to shine, this is a world class all around great Outdoor Strain.

I have never seen anything like it, beautiful sugar coated buds that smell so fucking sweet my mouth starts watering every time I walk by her in the garden, and not a single spot of mold!

She is a keeper for me for years to come in my outdoor scene, much respect to Wheezer who grows this cut religiously, I now see why :)

That brings me to my thoughts for next years outdoor line-up

well, budy boy...I THINK i CALLED THIS ONE WAAAY EARLY HUH??? Rommy for the win!! haha. Man I do love that strain..she's a winner. I feel for ya on the others though bro..trust me, I know the feeling. Even after all the mold I get every year on thoses super tight strains...I still try to grow a couple every year!! The TimeWreck is gonna be good one too, but I doubt it's gonna out weigh the Rommy. You stiill did a great job this year!!
