Hypothetical situation:

A property owner has 80+ acres in the foothills of California. For the past two years (three including this year) someone has been guerrilla growing on his back few acres. First year he left them alone and found his property trashed. Last year he left "hints" that they were unwelcome. THIS year, he decided to ask a good friend to put together a crew of capable men to eradicate the guerrilla grow from his property.

The crew goes in fully armed with excellent firepower, everyone (in succession so as to not have everyone empty at the same time) fires of the full capacity of their primary weapon in the VERY general direction of the grow as they are approaching. Two heads pop up, look around frantically, and run. Within 20-30 minutes, every top cola and some larger side colas were in two pickup beds and leaving the property, about 60% of the harvest. Two reasons stated by the landlord for leaving a decent amount: 1) Don't wanna be in the grow longer than necessary and 2) want to leave them SOMETHING but convey the message they are not welcome. Added security at the house, both technological and human, for the time being.

SOOooooo, righteous rip or not? IMO, it's a rip, no two ways about it. ALSO IMO, righteous.

Opinions?

Hypothetically speaking of course, nobody was EVER shot AT. They were left notes, "trinkets" that were well placed, etc. They knew they had been found and continued to grow and tear up the property. The next step, other than having a few friends go shooting/gardening, was to call the authorities. BUT, that's RARELY the best option imo.

Had they come up shooting, then yeah, they would've been shot.

I understood it was hypothetical from the get go. But yeah I guess a note is more than a hint. If they were clearly forewarned, and are growin on your hypothetically acreage, destorying the land, dump on them fuckers (or in their general direction) They could be cartel tho, so watch out for that.

That's kinda how i hypothetically view it too.

As for the cartel thing, most definitely. Hence the superior firepower(guaranteed) and beefed up security post-rip.

Hypothetically, no weapons were found but tbh, they weren't looked for once the tenders bugged out. Hypothetically, the crew looked much like a Sheriff's Department eradication team ;)

Hey I don't care what a lot of Hiprocrites here tell you, if they found dope growing on there own property they would most likely take them or make the guy get rid of them. That's damn well righteous after 2 years of leaving signals and polite "messages" via foot prints or minor bud sampling and still they don't get the hint, damn right I would pull at least 60% if not 99.9 being they are ignorant and don't care if the owner get's in shit. I hope this isn't hypothetical if this is going on where you or someone you know lives or ownes property and the grower don't give two shits about the owner's/landlords rights and liabilities than why should the actual landlord. Also when I Guerilla grow on Private "company property or residential ( but I usually use Industrial Properties outskirts) property I always assume if the landlord or workers find it, I'm going to loose it..... I don't hold blame on the owner as I'm not hypocritical. If I found it on mine, I would def tax some at the minimum simple as that

If I found someone else's grow on my property, I'd trash it and setup a few hidden trail cameras. They are putting my family, property, myself and my own grow at risk.

If I came in contact with trespassers I'd have to make a judgement call: retreat or stand my ground. A lot depends on how many people are present and how close I am to the threat. If it's safe to do so, I'd retreat, hunker down in a safe area, and contact authorities.

When I can see the whites of their eyes, I'm to close for a safe retreat. The best option would be to hunker down and stand my ground. I'd warn them by holding my flashlight as far from my body as possible and pointing right at their face. I'd shout and demand they immediately leave and inform them the police are on their way. Then pray that this alone is enough.

Now if they don't comply and advanced towards me I'm firing center mass until I'm satisfied the threat is gone. If your justified in shooting a warning shot, your justified in shooting to kill. Why waste the ammo when there is a legit threat facing you? Good people don't keep walking towards you when a gun is pointed at their face.

Having said that, according to ATF, growing and possessing arms or ammo is a big no no. Shooting, even just warning shots, is likely to get the police to make a visit and ask questions. And that can set you up for all sorts of legal troubles.

Tresspassers will be shot at signs work well at keeping people away from my propertie and the fact the I'm out shooting like every other day lol but yeah I know for a fact If I ever found someone eleses grow I'd cut it and leave a message outta the stems lol oh yeah and stun rounds for shotguns are helpful to lol it's like a stun grenade lol
