I have a 4 week old from seddling plant that leeves and stem reek. My first grow so mind my estupid questions. Can you determine the sex early in growth by smell

yes, males can reek. No, you can't tell what sex it is by smell alone.

How do you know its male? Are you in flower or veg? Determine sex by smell? I wish! Look for pistils ( hairs) on the plant for female, pollen sacs for males.

Yes male cannabis still produces the terpenoids that are responsible for smell, same as female cannabis.

Were glad you think you can guess male or female by smell, but don't give newbs misinformation. Just because you post a video does not prove anything. We can't smell through the monitor to judge for ourselves. So what your proposing is purely anecdotal. And goes against what thousands of growers for years and years all know: You can't accuratley predict gender by smell. If you could it would be in every grow bible and tutorial, which it is not.

So the people plants i correctly sexed on RIU are lying too? Already a few people in the past week said they had the same smell and ended up with males

yea man, just wait until it gets around 7-8 nodes on it then it should start to mature and sex. Just keep doing research on cannabis plant sex or something like that.
