Watering according to a set schedule is one of the more common newb mistakes - Cannabis does not care for "wet feet" & that's the recipe you are creating. Water only when the plant requires it by weighing the pot (dry and then wet) or digging a bit to see how wet the soil really is a couple of inches down and then water accordingly.
Of course that is the method most of us use, however, a newbie needs to learn how to balance their water/nute schedule and 2X a week is good to shoot for. One would certainly think it would be obvious even to a newbie.
My room runs hotter because I have a 400hps on the side of Tina (she's huge) so the bud below ripen in addition to the 1000hps. So yes, that may be a bit more water. Remember, less is more. You can always add but its a bitch to fix if you over water/nute.
