inline fan carbon filter help

im trying to get a 4 inch inline fan for my 3x3x6.
im looking for one that quiet and cheap. was also looking for like a carbon filter inline fan set..
im ballin on a budget over here so price is a little issue..im trying to get these because heat and smell is an issue..
please help me out

I got mine off amazon, for about 120. Be sure to get a fan speed adjuster, they are loud without one.

Coho asked a very good question. In that space a 4" inline combo should work for a 250w possibly a 400w. I would not push anything else. If you are using more wattage I would suggest 6". Also you should probably get an intake booster fan.

I have seen 4" fan/filter combos on ebay for $100.00 w/free shipping.

why do i need an intake booster fan instead of an inline fan? or you mean get both...im ballin on a budget over here man.

No, intake boosters are useless for cooling HID lights. Get an inline fan.

You don't need both. That tent size you can easily run a 4" inline with passive intake.(no intake fan) exhaust fan sucks air in and blows hot air out.

thanks man do you know of any combo deals?? smell is an issue a little bit.
do i justneed to look for 190 cfm or so on the fan and get a control speed thing?

I don't have a speed controller. It's not terribly loud but it is loud.

i comments sound nice on here can u tell me what to get running a led in a 4x4x8 i just need to know all i need than i can find it myself through phresh im thinking. so a carbon in-line fan and some duct? doi need a flange if there both 6in or is a flange like a universal fitting deal?? thanx
