There is a grow journal for Doer. I notice that not all have them. But, it's obvious that I came here to grow. And obvious I am under no obligation to prove anything. Yet, now we find ourselves in a political season. A kind of almost sexual Heat. Exciting, in a way. Lot's to talk about. No one is shy.

So, I enjoy expressing myself and having discussions. I can stoop to ball busting, when provoked, but I'd rather not. But, I think mono-mania is interesting and the concept of no conflict is interesting, in that we all seem drawn to the various train wreaks.

It's a little slow in Science right now. I'm not dogging anyone. And when that is proposed it seems like paranoia.

It is funny when someone visits your journal and claims you don't have one.

Notice I'm the most recent visitor Tug. I'm not convinced but meh, w/e so you "have a journal" fine.

You're still a partisan hack with anti-left sentiments claiming to be a leftist but spouting tea-party talking points. I only ever see you agreeing with righties and disagreeing with leftists.

You are extremely disrespectful toward me, yet complain when I reply dismissively. What do you expect?

Those two are little butt buddies, both of them find it amusing to rank on my 30 yr old avatar, but neither of them are accomplished growers, hell Buckie did his first outdoor grow this year, but that doesn't stop them from giving expert advise! LOL

Oh, and I know plenty of honorable Combat Vets. My dad is VFW. Usually they don't seem so thin skinned. They get stone cold, maybe.

But, they don't get petulant and start with school yard insults. Vets are the last to intentionally provoke. And boot camp is suppose to slap down the clown to stand up the man.

Hey, I was a number away from Nam. Hair to my waist, and when not called, I served the Cause. I got roughed up after heaving all manner of heavy stuff in the direction of the Man, blocked roads, got arrested, more than once. It seemed my duty.

Combat, it seems from viewing my own brothers, returning from arms, makes for more precision of language and for more care with casual insult and more respect all around than when they left. I have never turned down a chance to personally thank anyone I see in Uniform of Armed Services. I've never had a combat Vet dismiss me for thanking him.

You spew a bunch of lies and nonsense, then conclude with, "I respect ya, thanks, stow it. Any veteran worth his salt opposes war.

You are extremely disrespectful, and so I am dismissive, and you bring even more disrespect. Now you are insinuating I'm lying about my service. Have some balls, I called you a liar directly, don't be such a pussy. Don't feign respect, you have shown disrespect consistently.

I served in A-Stan 2002-2003 and Iraq 2003-2004 with 2nd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment. I was a rifleman. I'm 100% disabled. You talk of a draft, I have been involuntarily reactivated and stop-lossed.

Hinzman was a good friend of mine but I haven't been in touch since he went to Canada. He was very courageous, he stood up to the taboo and hype and bs and risked everything for what he believed. More courageous than me, I was complicit in the illegal war, don't thank me thank him.

Stop lying about your dad.

Yeah, my Dad was WW2 Vet, I grew up in the Air Force, on the bases, bunkered down during Cuba.

All sane people are opposed to war. Vets can get dis-illusioned if the Govt is telling them it was a waste in the first place.

No Vet should feel like they need to supply a resume. An honorable Vet respects. He has been there. So, it doesn't matter what names are called. War is hell. And if a brother can't take a thank you, that's not respect.

Now he can tap dance and say I did this and point fingers, but, honor is respect. But, the govt has said this war is spit and now the vets think they are the only ones against war.

Take your bs and stow it. All your disrespect is not forgotten just because you pay lip service. You say the suicides are a result of pulling out of the war, you say disillusionment comes because the gov't decides the war was a waste all along. Again, you show how little you know. Your dad was in the air force, therefore you know? I'm so sick of people paying lip service and telling me what the war was about.

The war is about the guy sharing the danger, it's about the guy sharing a fox hole, it's about my buddies to my right and left. It isn't about protecting freedom, it isn't about being obligated to accept your lip service. I knew the war was bs long before the gov't changed it's approach and admitted it.

Instead of telling vets why there is so much suicide, stfu and listen. Instead of paying lip service, listen. That way, they don't have to shoulder the disillusionment alone. Don't tell a veteran what the war was about and why he is disillusioned. I'm not looking for glory or a thank you, it doesn't replace guilt.

Thank you for your service means fuck all if you support another fucking quagmire in the mid east.

Guilt has to be the toughest part. All manners of guilt. It's different now, only that we have been brainwashed to psychobabble.

Every war is hell, back for 10s of thousands of years. In WW2 the survivors sucked it up. Why? Because they were raised that way
and had self reliance. My Dad is very old and glad of it. Never blamed anyone but FDR about Pearl Harbor.

But, the society that abandons the Warrior, runs up an unvetted, President that says one war was Just and one wasn't Just

Then pulls out of both with only regard for the enemy, not his Warriors. I didn't do that. Bush didn't do that. I watched it happen in Nam and got very pissed at Lyndon Johnson. I didn't blame the previous President.

It is not our job description to know anything. I'm a civilian. A person volunteers for war these days. But they wear a society guilt trip, now and our President is the one that shows no regard for the Warrior or Ambassador. What is rolling Che in the grave is why are not ALL the old Left, like me are not after this Sky Killer? When Sharia declare jehad Che would be pissed. He was against Religion.

You know what is absurd? Claiming to be a libertarian yet supporting Rmoney.
I agree with this personally but have friends that are small l libertarians that say for the sake of our economic future Obama must go. The only way to make this happen is to vote for Romney. I understand the position after hearing the left tell me that 8% unemployment is the new norm and we need to learn to accept it. No, this is unacceptable.

For me though, I can't justify voting for a candidate I wouldn't vote for in any other election just because I like the other guy even less. This mentality perpetuates the two party system and for the sake of our economic future we need to break this cycle.

Hell, I'd rather we elected our president American Idol style (1 vote per though), we'd have more and better candidates to choose from.

For a while there, I was telling the likes of Deprave and other independants to quit dreaming third party. My rationale was that they stood no chance, could give the election to the weaker of the dichotomy and that the 3 party systems of both Mexico and Canada are no more effective. Of these 3 premises, the first two have been cast into doubt, I still firmly believe the third. Particularly in Mexico. However, the US is a different lot. In the US, left leaning people seem to bear the brand of "commy sympathyser" which I find out dated and absurd. The other difference I see, is the realistic prospect that the GOP could really be in final death throes and this is rather exciting. This could lead very directly to real democracy as any real opposition to the dems in 2016 would truly be a grassroots movement.

I'd rather have NO party than just 2. I'm left of Obama socially and right of Romney fiscally, what the center has become disgusts me, and both parties should be in their death throws imo. I relate to Gary Johnson on way more issues than either of the 2 but because of our present system nobody knows who this guy is or what he stands for.
