36hrs drying smells like cut grass/tea [total newbie here]

That's too high. Find out the RH in the empty jar first. It's gonna be hard to get below the baseline RH.

I'd like to see you at 67% before you jar.

i know bro got the beans for free, for me this aint ditch weed. im from a country where 99.9% of weed is brickshit schwag and the so called 'golds' are better but still its bone dry schwag]

yea pure ruderalis is ditch but thats why they get cross breeded with other strains to get a good bud that still autos.

dump em out on a plate or something for 12 hours and then after that put them back into the jar for twelve 12 hours. Repeat this process until done. Don't try and dry in the jar they will dry uneven. The bottom buds in the jar wont get as much the as the top buds get.

ive done 12hrs closed 4hrs open bro the humidity has lowered to about 65-70% and the grassy tea smell is quite gone, just a little hint of. and i think theyre gettin rock hard again after a day in the jar woohoo! ima decrease the "lid off" time as the days go by until fully cured and ready for long term storage

i smoked a nug this mornin and damn it was my 1st time doin real sinsemilla, the effect was quite overwhelming for me being used to schwagg, first it starts off in the head but a crystal clear high then about [i lost track of time] gived me mild a couch-lock effect that was quite overwhelming being used to pure sativa schwag it felt like a warm body massage that glued me to my chair but my mind still works crystal clear after that i felt really sleepy i had to take a nap lol and the citrus flavor was there but quite bland, i cant taste any grassy flavors at all -just needs a long cure i guess

wish i had those cbd cbn drops without the thc that you get from dispensaries so i can medicate without gettin stoned sometimes, thats why im lookin onto 50-50 strains or indica dom strains[i know they have thc but i liked the effect compared to pure sativas] btw this strain is Jock fem auto indica dom pheno so i let it go to 30-40% amber

hell yea it takes like 2 weeks to get to where the minimum cure shuld be. you could cure that for 6 months and it keep getting better, just after that it wont really make a diffrence. so what i would do is not use any of that bud untill its been cured for 2 weeks atleast so you get your full affect. it will make it smell stronger, taste better, and be a better high.

smells nice, gettin rock hard again not too dry, RH 61-66% temps constant at 24-26C in the cab, the grassy smell is about 95% gone
how many times a day should i open the jar now and how long should i keep it open? cos i open the jar every 12 hours and stays open for 2 hours

Cannabis cured over several months (if done properly) can be highly improved upon.
The flavours and odours develop during this period and if you keep the THC from degrading you don't lose much potency either.
Most people cure for 2 weeks or so (or until they run out of a stash) which is fine but the best of the best is cured for months on end.

I think you have misunderstood what THCV is.

THCV attenuates the psychoactive effect of THC. That is to say is reduces/blocks the effects of THC.
THC degrades into CBN which is the primary loss of potency in cannabis.
THC degrades into CBN if exposed to direct sunlight for example.

If you can control the environment you're drying/curing in then you can cure your weed for months without problems and without losing much potency.

A lot of the cannabinoids have a sedative effect.
CBN however seems to cause a rather unpleasant feeling, it's been described as 'feeling sick' more than being high.
CBN also represents a 90% loss of potency (from THC --> CBN).
Which is why you should keep CBN levels low to not only ensure a proper high but that you get the full potency of the particular strain.

7 days curing update & smoke test

tested a nug today about 40% amber. JH indica pheno
the smell got nicer more like sharp orange&berries aint smellin like tea anymore, the classic skunky flavor was there with tangy citrus&berries on the exhale
the effect feels the same as the 1st one ive tried earlier, feels dreamy at first but when it kicks in it gave me a very nice and warming body high and a balanced head buzz, numbed mostly on my arms and chest while having a clear headed buzz i laughed alot while i was eating damn cant even feel them cookies it felt like the cookie was draining all my hands energy lol not much effect on time perception i can still think straight most of the time lol

it was a nice experience totally different from all in the head buzz landrace sativas w/c im used to

that clear headed buzz is spot on like what ive read on other reports, like my mind is still able to work with no little problem with time perception[felt like slow mo and relaxing] just the right head buzz while my body felt numb, weak and buzzing lol ima do another report on the lower nugs drying right now theyre mostly cloudy with little or no amber at all
