Need 400w MH/HPS grow advice (w 2x supplmental 125w CFL)

I've got a 3x3x7 tent and a 400w HPS/MH in a cooltube. I've also got two supplemental 125w 2700k CFLs for flowering. I'm planning on doing a LST method. My question is how many plants do you think I should go for? I was planning to grow two (1x WWxBig Bud and 1x Lemon Haze), but I'm wondering if that would be optimal or not. I've got a bunch of seeds that I want to try, but I don't want to kill my yield per plant.


Using float and grow for germ, then light warrior for seedlings, then ocean forest 4 gallon buckets for the rest of veg/flower. I'm also going to use FF Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, Grow Big for nutes.

Hey purkles,
When I first started growing I had a 400 watter
In my apartment closet. Only used half the closet,
And I flowered 6 plants at a time with it. You should be fine.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I'll try to germ 4 and see what happens.

Going with 1x White Widow/Big Bud, 1x Lemon Haze, 1x Cherry Berry, and 1x mazar/great white shark (all femenized and all from attitude seeds).

Once things get rolling I'll start a grow journal.
