Just wanted to say hello everybody, in doing my research, I kept getting links to forums on this site, so i thought it would be a valuable resource to join.
Anyway back to the core matters/specs heres my setup:
-blue mystics auto flowering (from nirvana shop)
-250w hps lighting
-1 gal pots (im only growing 2 plants at a time (atleast for now))
-growing in a good size walk in closet.
- box fan
So here is my questions:
I originally wanted to do hydroponics, but i didn't want to do too many new things at once.
That being said I would like to try using hydroponic nutes in a soil grow. (I want to have fun and experiment as well) Ive purchased 1 qt of ff big bloom, and 1q of ff tiger bloom. (ive read they work well together)
So this leads to my first question/concern. Ive read you don't need to give an autoflowers veg nutes. (because the veg stage is so short)
1. Would you guys agree with that statement?
2. My other concern how much nutes to use/ and how often? I'm completely new to the concept of nutes, but ive read a handful articles/forums, but it hard to find an article that pertains to hydro nutes, soil, and autoflowers lol. I've read one should use 50% nutes of what you would normally use.(in a hydro). Can I just water with small amount of nutes in the water everytime?
3. Is a one gal pot big enough for an autoflower?
4.Another topic i read is EC of your water. Is this a serious variable I should be concerned with (atleast for someone with my experience)I'm not looking to win the cannabis cup or anything, but just make a bud better then all (using "all" loosely) the "brick buds". In terms of water, would it been fine as to just use tap water that sat out a couple days? (to get rid of chlorine of course)
Again just wanting to save money on bud and educate myself. Strictly for personal consumption/close friends
Thanks for you help in advance guys!
Stay lifted
PS I understand the core basics of growing (growing stages, lighting etc..) so don't be affraid to be specific.
