use a larger pot and straighten out the stem and bury it. it will become a strong tap-root, and throw off laterals. get the light a couple of inches away (cfl.....right?) when you get to about 4 or 5 nodes........begin LST

Thanks for your advice, it was very helpful. I'll go and straighten it now, so it will recover by tommorow when i buy a new pot.

I have CFL and plan on using CFL for flowering too.

About the LST, how many times should i bend it? Or just circle the pot with it as it grows? should i also FIM or TOP when i start LST?

training is something you must play with. i use landscape staples and pin down branches as i go along. i make 5 pointed star LST's............octopus LST's...............circle the pot LST's

I just use plumbing tape and/or yarn and tie around a strong part of the branch, pull down to make a level canopy(just enough but not enough to break) and use electrical tape to hold the whatever u decide to use down.
