Nugs originally outlined that this technique was formulated for "no larf, compact, dense growth" in minimal space under a 600 watt hps. personally, I've been cutting anything down low that I think might produce a larfy bud, because I'm just not interested in growing that. As with any new technique, the only real way to perfect it is to implement it over multiple flowering periods and take notes of the results. If at first you dont trim enough down low, you'll know by the amount of larf in your final producte. the next time, you might trim too much and see yeild suffer, but its a balancing act, and although its nugs technique, its up to each individual grower to decide, based on personal experiment, what methodology is going to make it work the best, for you.So I have a question about the progressive trimming that it looks like you guys are doing while main-lining. Do you do it according to how strong the new growth is... for example, if the top shoots are taking off and sturdy do you just cut all the undergrowth in order to focus the growth to the main x(number of main shoots)? I have noticed that your stalks are mega hefty, and have what appear to be the nodal scarring of where previous growth was. Sorry about the question if it is redundant, but I just want to get my head wrapped around this in the right way. Thanks in advance for the help!

Thanks a lot I appreciate it!Nugs originally outlined that this technique was formulated for "no larf, compact, dense growth" in minimal space under a 600 watt hps. personally, I've been cutting anything down low that I think might produce a larfy bud, because I'm just not interested in growing that. good choice...sounds like junk to me.....Hey nugs. Do you think if the soil is too hot, that could cause herme? I just hadd another master herme. This time it was every bud site. I had to kill it. It was 18 days in flower. Only that one had reused soil that I did not compost for long enough. I didn't have enough loot for new soil at the time. Or it started out as 16 header. By 2 gnarly accidents it became an 11 header. That might of been too much stress. That happened during week 2.
Im just about over this strain. I popped a variety of new strains a few days ago.
wow, sounds like you are set for awhile!unreal nugs, i wish i had 20bones of sd. def benefits from a long cure to get the best terpin flavs. i just smoked some 12month (sour diesel x og kush) x deez by DJXXXPLATINUM on icmag. the guy has the best male sd pollen...deez.
i've got a reservoir sd/sfv og, sd/og kush, sd/kksc, and sd ibl all dusted with his stud pollen. the dude is a whiz
You are killing it harder than anyone out there nugs, PERIOD. You and sub have really bumped my and countless other peoples harvests up to the next level. I can't believe there are still people out there growing hydro using 16 different kinds of nutrients at every different stage of growth, constantly checking TDS and PH blah blah blah. You and Sub have made growing so simple and so DANK, and for that we can not thank you enough. I owe you more than one. Keep doin your thang, we all got nothin but love for ya.
