Bush said he was done with politics and had no interest to stump for anyone.
He already endorsed Romney.
That's enough.

If you had any knowledge of the situation you would know why it didn't happen. I would take a Carter any day of the week over a Reagan or a Bush. [video=youtube;3L1NwUvp0T8]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3L1NwUvp0T8[/video]
I already know why it didn't happen. Carter was a failure. You must have been a child at the time or you would know this. Reagan won by a landslide because everyone, Democrats too, was tired of his inability to lead. There were times when people would run out of gas because there was none available to buy. This was the result of him trying to fix prices. He had no clue.

Actually Nixon started price controls

And the Iranian hostage crisis ended the first day Reagan took office

Coincidentally
iran ended up with missles and the contras in nicauraga got something in return as well

The Iran–Contra affair (Persian: ایران-کنترا‎, Spanish: caso Irán-contras), also referred to as Irangate, Contragate or the Iran-Contra scandal, was a political scandal in the United States that came to light in November 1986. During the Reagan administration, senior Reagan administration officials secretly facilitated the sale of arms to Iran, the subject of an arms embargo.[SUP][1][/SUP] Some U.S. officials also hoped that the arms sales would secure the release of hostages and allow U.S. intelligence agencies to fund the Nicaraguan Contras. Under the Boland Amendment, further funding of the Contras by the government had been prohibited by Congress.
The scandal began as an operation to free seven American hostages being held by a group with Iranian ties connected to the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution. It was planned that Israel would ship weapons to Iran, and then the U.S. would resupply Israel and receive the Israeli payment. The Iranian recipients promised to do everything in their power to achieve the release of the U.S. hostages. The plan deteriorated into an arms-for-hostages scheme, in which members of the executive branch sold weapons to Iran in exchange for the release of the American hostages.[SUP][2][/SUP][SUP][3][/SUP] Large modifications to the plan were devised by Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North of the National Security Council in late 1985, in which a portion of the proceeds from the weapon sales was diverted to fund anti-Sandinista and anti-communist rebels, or Contras, in Nicaragua.[SUP][4][/SUP][SUP][5][/SUP]

And yet another NOT SO WELL adjusted individual upset that his candidate wasn't allowed to lie non stop for 90 minutes Thursday night.
You are lyiing non-stop, right now. There were no lies. Check it yourself. What you saw was a checked out President, perhaps reeling internally from a pending Foreign Donation problem and the perhaps criminal fuck up in Libya.

You saw over-confidence in the talking points he was handed about Mitt's positions. Mitt called bullshit early and often. Good for him... Ryan should have called bullshit on the moderator. There was a point when both were hectoring and interrupting Congressman Ryan.

This race is stupid in that they count on your stupidity. You want to characterize the candidate as a rich demon. Doesn't work. You want to say what his positions are what you say they are. Mitt says you have that wrong. Now you say he lies. Why? Because that was the immediate smug you were given to chug.

I say the stupid test is coming right up. This President is not a competent Commander. That shows. That hurts us all.

Right, wrong, or inbetween on his policies or the direction he took the country; I strongly feel that Bush loves his country and loves being an American.

Not sure if I can say the same about Obama.
What makes one love being an American? How do you define the characteristic of "loves being an American?"

White male landowners could only vote
and it was ok to own people?
It wouldn't sound so childish when you type if it didn't come off as arrogant.
If you're talking about slavery, and then later civil rights.....
Slavery was abolished because of the constitution, NOT in spite of it.
Abraham Lincoln quoted the constitution many times in defense of freedom.
"All men (people) are created as equals" and so on.
Republicans wanted equal rights, its democrats who hang people from trees,
also denieing black people rights with your Jim Crow laws.
So if you want to talk about slavery then democrats have got ALOT to answer for.
Do you LIE and MISLEAD in EVERY post you make?
