Oh the book scam, yep, it's HUGE! $100-$250/book, just to get that seal of "new edition" on the front. Even worse the books for each specific college, even community college, so you can't sell it on ebay or amazon and get your money back.. The book scam goes deep, and that's all it is, even admitted by honest professors, it's the same edition, reworded or with tiny bits of information added which require each student to buy it to pass the class. That's all it is, a scam. I suggest you borrow the book from another student over a weekend and photocopy the pages, it will be a SHIT LOAD of work, and probably take around 40 hours of that 48 hour period to do, but it will be worth it. Don't let the scammed system win.
A poor guy gets a shit education compared to a wealthy guy because he's poor. Cycle of poverty, it's real, it exists. Rich people don't bother with caring about how much money it costs to go to school, poor people do, so they're required to be selective with their choices.
