Yeah I know buddy it's a bit low, but like you said it's working for me ;) I mean if I water the plant's, RH is up at about 43-45% but when the pots dry out a bit it goes down to steady 20%, it could be a bit higher but I wont worry about that.
As for the AKR I hope she will bounce back from that transplanting stress will just have to wait and see.

But I have other news that I want to share with you ;) Finally I got my self an HPS light lol, it's an 400w HPS it's kinda old and shit, but works just great and paid only $50 so you can't beat that price lol.
The girl just wasn't sure about the bulb and how much juice is left on it, but it still works just fine, I'll just have to go to H.D or Lowes to pick a new one they're like $21.
So yeah I'm foooking stoked about that light lol.

Here's the picture of it, I know it's not the best or the newest but it will work for me and my little grow space, that light should be enough for two plant's IMAG0219.jpg

Hey guys I got a question as you guys know my box ain't biggest thing in the world it's line out with panda film so here's my question do I still need a hood for that light? or should I be fine with out a hood?

youll be fine without a hood as long as you have adequate ventilation...which took me for ever to figure out, you need BIG fans moving fast to move enough air to cool one of those down. i mean relatively of course, but...my original thinking was that one of those 4 inch duct fans would be enough to ventilate my 4ft by 4ft box. GOOD ONE. lol i now have 3 6 inch 250 cfm fans in my 4 by 4 by 6.5 tent and that may not cut it when i have to start scrubbin the air...

ANYWAY...if/when you put that 400 in that box, the temps will def reach high 90s if not over 100. mine did. granted it was a 600, but it was a 4x4x6 box. anyway i did get a hood, which you will PROBABLY need (just makes things easier) to vent the box. you can literally just get a glass tube, i think theyre called cooltubes, and have it have its own intake/output with ducting and a fan. then you can suction out air with your 165 cfm and scrub that if necessary and your golden. maybe end up needin a bigger fan to pull from that much space, i would recommend: 6 inch duct booster fan pushin or pulling through a cooltube that is its own closed system, and then maybe push into the box with ur 165 and pull out with an at LEAST 250 cfm, if not getting one of those high powered fans.

i know its expensive, but its worth it. not like you have to make it happen all at once. make it work with what ya got and get the stuff over time. dont skimp out though. lol

Monster thank you buddy for all your input, but I might get away with it since is getting colder and colder outside and the room that my box is in is the coldest room in the house I mean COLD when the winter time comes around lol.

So I got the light installed in the box, bare bulb no hood (for now) it's been running for past um I don't know 8 maybe 9 hours and so far the temps got up to only 85.4F.
I got two 8in desk fans blowing on the bulb, exhaust fan is pointing down towards the bulb so the two desk fans are blowing up wards and the exhaust is catching all the hot air.
Will see how it will work for a long run, but I think I should be fine during winter time.

The plants don't show any heat stress for now, I got the bulb about 11-12 above the top of the plant and I think she just loves it lol, tomorrow if I find any free time I want to stop by H.D and pick a brand new hps that they got for like $21.

So just a little update on the light, it's been almost or it's already been (can't remember) 24hrs with the new light in the box and so far so good my temps never went above 85F, rite now it's 82.4F in there, I'm still doing bare bulb so that's why my temps aren't that crazy, will see how it will work for the long run.

All I can say she just loves that new light of hers lol, no heat stress whatsoever so far seems like I'm good for now.

I'll have some pictures with an update in few hours, just got to go to H.D pick up that new hps bulb and I'll be golden.

So guys have a nice and "sunny" day.

And here's the AKR it looks like shit but I'm not giving up on it lol IMAG0229.jpg
Here's the bulb that I got at H.D IMAG0220.jpg

wow your hijack looks amazing so far!:leaf: i wish i could say the same for my baby.

so i got back last night from my trip, came home to amazing growth! so much that i under anticipated how far to put the lights. the top of the main cola on the hijack got a little burnt from hitting the lights. not to bad though. so then when i was adjusting my lights, my roommate called my name loudly and i jumped and let my lights fall on my plant, the hijack's main stem broke and was at about an 80 degree angle. You have no idea how upset i am for letting myself do this. Fortunately the double diesel ryder was not harmed at all. I also sprouted a great white shark x mazar photo plant while i was gone as well, she was also fine. I decided to wrap some duct tape around the break, and put her back in the tent. Im thinking with the burn plus a break on the main stem, she will be one stressed plant. you guys think its worth it to keep her and hope for the best or just toss her and save room for the other 2? i still have 2 more hijack seeds that i can start at a later time. Id rather not waste the space and time/nutes/potential light to other plants, to end up with a few pop corn nugs.

first 2 pics is of the Hijack, 3rd & 4th is of the DDR, then the seedling GWSxMDSC_0022.jpgDSC_0025.jpgDSC_0023.jpgDSC_0024.jpgDSC_0019.jpgDSC_0020.jpg

Hey Grape good to have you back, how was the trip? Everything cool?

As for your HiJack, I'm not an expert I'm just another noob but I read somewhere that if the main stem breaks and you put a tape around the broken stem it should recover but like I said I'm just a noob but I believe it should bounce back.
But she looks nice beside broken stem and some burned leafs.
You can wait and see give it a week maybe? To see if she bounce back.

That DDR looks very nice, all nice and green and healthy, I just wonder if your DDR will stink up your place like my Diesel Ryder did lol.

As for the HiJack she doesn't smell bad at all, I'm kinda surprise by that, I also got that Gonzo Odor Eliminator from Home Depot (I don't know if you are in the states or somewhere else) but looks like that gonzo works pretty well even if I open the box I can barely smell the plant, so it looks like that Gozno thing is working well for a plant or two, will see how it will perform when the AKR will start to budding.

I had a problem with my AKR, I had to transplant to a new pot bcuz the soil was to compact in that pot old pot, and she got stressed a bit, but I see she's coming back, I see she's putting her first pistils out so that's a good sign.

And I also got me an HPS light off craigslist for like $50 bucks all I had to do is get a new bulb from H.D for $21
At first I was very sceptical abut that HPS and the heat in my box, but all is good, the temps never go over 85F they like sitting at 81-82F I got two 8in desk fans blowing straight at the bulb (I'm doing bare bulb for now, no hood I think it easier to manage the temps better without the reflector)
And the Hijack she just loves it, I got the bulb about 11-12in from the top of the plant, no heat stress whatsoever so I think I'm good for now.

So grape good to have you back buddy, and keep an eye on that HiJack I think she should bounce back from that accident and the heat stress.

Have a nice and "sunny" day buddy.

thanks man! the trip was well, had to go out to CA for a funeral, it was good to be back in my home state! miss that weather man...
anyways, ive seen your updates, everything looks good, the budds on your hijack look delicious so far! and i agree the AKR looks to be taking the transplant well.

My DDR is a runt compared to the hijack, but still doing very well. i had low hopes for her at first due to slow growth and weird leaves, but they seemed to stay on the first node or 2. the rest of the growth is very healthy. the Hijack, man i am so bummed. she has a few white pistols, and smells so good! i have to leave my closet door open when lights are on to keep the temps down, so as soon as i go over to that side of the room i smell it. its like a regular plant smell with a faint skunky earthy smell. The reason i am so worried about the accident, is because they are autoflowers. they tent to be sensitive to things, and picky. hopefully it works out. im excited for the GWSxMazar seedling. im going to top/lst/supercrop/etc the fuck out of her haha.

Nice update Acid, she's looking really strong and healthy, well done :D
Low Thank you, thank you sir.

She's a big girl lol yeah she's just doing so great, cant say the same about AKR lol but hey you win some you loose some.

I like your Lemon Haze grow I've been following it for a while now, we might end up harvesting around the same time.

Grape shit buddy sorry to hear about that funeral thing.

Yeah auto's got that specific time frame not a lot of time to recover, but I think you should be fine even if you yield a bit less it's still something.
So no worries be happy and keep an eye on your girls :weed:

Yeah I got like two more auto seeds Dinafem Original Amnesia Auto and Dinafem Fruit Automatic, so after I'm done with the hijack I'll be doing most likely that original amnesia I hear good things about it.
And when and if I harvest the AKR I'll be doing that fruit automatic, and after that I got some photo seeds Samsara Seeds El Alquimista, Reserva Privada OG Kush, Emerald Triangle Seeds Bubba 76.

Thanks man, it sucks but what can you do?

nice, i hear great things about reserva privada, they are constantly winning cups out west. i want to try their kosher kush soon, looks tasty!

i too have been following lowblowers ULH thread for a while, looking great! i originally was going to order some but i changed my mind at the last minute due to the semi auto stuff. I really wanted to try some regular auto's.

i decided to do some very slight lst on the DDR, just to bring a few smaller branches out and get them some light. :leaf:

Good morning guys and gels (if we got any) ;) How's everyone doing this fine and chilli morning?

So yesterday I decide to put the hood over my light, I just wanted to see if the temps will spike up, but to my surprise no temps had changed, it stayed the same so I think I will just leave this so called hood on lol. Here's the picture of this so called hood of mine IMAG0232.jpg (sorry for the picture) as you can see all it is just a piece of aluminium, but it works great for me, and since I got that hood on I didn't noticed any heat stress on the HiJack which I thought would happen (heat stress) bcuz of all that heat bouncing of the hood and down on the plant, but I think my two 8in desk fans are doing it's job of cooling the bulb and my 6in booster fan is doing it's job in sucking all the hot air out of the box, so for now I think I'm all good with the lights.

I'm thinking about getting some kind of a small cabinet and converting it to a veg cab, so I can veg my plants under my cfls and t5 and when flower time comes around I would just put them into the box under the hps. I still got a bit room in my closet so small veg box would work great for me.

So guys and gels have a nice and "sunny" day...aCiD ;)

Yes it was stressful manouvre lol, but I did something else I gently up rooted the plant and re potted into a less packed pot, I think she took it like a soldier.
Only two leafs are dying I think bcuz of the transplant, but besides that she looks good. Here are two pictures of the AKR and it's leafs View attachment 2370567View attachment 2370568
She doesn't look stressed or it's just me lol, she should bounce back from that, I hope.
Trim away all vegetation besides the stem that is touching soil. Those lower leaves need to go away now.
