yea sometimes we do not too bad though but it does get real cold an windy at times
if you can keep her from the frost I dont see why it would be an issue.. you know your weather patterns best... if you get a bunch of rain I would keep em small and steaked up well.. and wind... were pretty lucky here along the 35-36 parallel in cen cal.. I did not grow last winter but this winter I am already prepping the soil for the grow (once my shed is no longer a dry room she will be a small 3-4 cfl grow maybe even 2-3 ) I am home pretty much 24-7 so I will be able to pull the ladies out during the decent days.. saving on power)

Dude, I grew up on the east bay side, and I don't think a tent would do.
Maybe one of those outdoor Rubbermaid sheds and plan on putting a room heater in it.
Where are you? The S.F. side or the east side?

I stay at the very bottom of the S outh Bay. I stay in Alviso it's a town on the north side of San Jose. Our marina is like 10 min walking distance from my house if I stand on my roof I can see the bay water. So with out no tent or nothing it would be impossible to grow right?

why not grow in pots and bring in at night, iam interested as well

ive looked at that before actually and we get only about 8 or 9 hours of sunlight in dec, then after the sunlight increases all the way to till june 20 (the longest day of the year) and again declines

i dont think 8 or 9 will great buds + factor in any weather delays, your better off starting after the year ends imo, but hey there may be guys on here that pull it off, like i said iam interested in seeing that

ya, I got relatives down there, in SJ, and in San Mateo. If you can see the water, the night air blowing in will def. be too cold.
BTW. DAM dude, i don't know many people that stand on their roofs LOL

haha nah dude its way too late just plan for next year unless you have a greenhouse with supplemental lighting and heat then yea you could still grow...pretty much year round that way actually
