Mandala Seeds Satori/ Speed Queen/ Hasberry

Anyone else have a dog that likes satori? Anytime I do any kind of trimming to my satori, my wife's dog comes running to eat whatever leaf scraps I trim off. It was kinda funny until she took off with a 48 hour old clone.

She stole a bagseed seedling once a few months ago, but usually pays no attention to my plants. But if I start messing with my satori, she won't leave my side.

I've finally trained my dog to stop thieving my leaves. Now she waits for harvest and eats every one that falls....every one.

2 of my seedlings died. which sucks because i never have a problem with seeds. i think when i do the next 5 I will just germinate them the way I always do instead of mandalas way. the 3 I have are looking nice though. I'm bummed I didnt wait till I had more money and get the hashberry as well. they have some outdoor at my club and its so dense and good tasting. I want to grow that next...

Sucks about the seedlings. What grow medium do you use?

Hashberry does sound really good. That was the first mandala strain I looked at, before deciding on satori. M1 and 8 mile sound pretty good to me too.

i use soil. its just usually i germinate first then plant the taproot down into soil, but mandala said to just lay the seeds on there side in soil and water and wait and becauswe of that 2 of them got fuckep up and died after popping. oh well. I'm gonna throw 2 into 12/12 right away and put the other one out in the garden and hope it's a female. although i want a male indoor one to pollinate my purple kush, bubblegum, and maybe one of my grape apes or og kush's. too many choices. I know the purple kush is 100% indica and would be a good canidate for satori breeding. im excited..

I was a little nervous putting mine directly in the soil too. I had always used a paper towel. So far I'm 5/5, maybe mandala just likes promix?

If you got three healthy ones, you are still in pretty good shape. I'd be curious to see the final height if done 12/12 from seed.

I put in 11 satori and 9 came up...the other two were stolen by ants...but I'm guessing they were going to come up.

I grew satori a few years back. It was a great growing strain with huge buds, and a great sativa high. I also crossed it with my chocolate trip male and made one of my favorite strains.

hey i just received my packs of the safari mix in the mail. I was going to germinate them then use 1/2 fox farm soil and 1/2 camo bag soil. tips?
and advice for my outdoor grow would be helpful! its outdoors in california so no worries about frost. anything specific mandala seeds like?

Watch your nute levels, they are very nutrient efficient plants. I got some great girls out of a safari mix I have only run ten of. I am running satori, point of no return, beyond the brain, and some safari mix from mandala right now, and am getting near harvest. They all look good, nicely frosty, great smells. One of the best is actually a safari mix girl. Very pleased with Mandala so far.

Mandala are a good company to purhase from, very cheap prices for high quality genetics, recently cracked 5 reg kalichakra and got 4 fem, all going strong 5 weeks into bloom, very easy to grow and love nutrients. Possibly another 5 weeks to go and the buds are bigger and frostier than im used to seeing at this time, i have cloned the best pheno and plan on keeping for a while.

I have a question, I live in a region in southern california, where we really get no frost. I looked online for when the first frost and last frost in my area occurs for tomato growing and it said its subtropical climate with year round growing. So my question is, if i have seedlings outdoors now that I put outside about 4 weeks ago, will they grow through out october to march? Or will they start budding too early because of the sun light? should i purchase a few fluorescent lights and keep them indoors till end of december-january? i've been trying to avoid doing that because of $$.

Yeah, I know nothing about outdoor growing, I would recommend asking in the outdoor forum. I did just finish my satori, and I had three phenos that finished in 10-11 weeks from 12/12. 14-15 weeks total. Great stuff, some of the phenos are a bit of work to trim but all yielded great and the potency looks to be quite good. I have 'em hanging up right now, for me my keeper had a gigantic main cola and head bud and a very fruity/berry scent. Cloned well and my momma responded quite well to topping, which I will use on my next flowering run with her.

if they haven't weighed in yet, one grower here puts satori and ace seed's golden tiger as their top 2 favorites. i know from my own experience that mandala's 8 miles high is ass kicking awesome! it has a TOTALLY neutral energy profile that's neither racy nor stony that i found very classy with gobs of playful "let's have fun!" euphoria with more psychoactivity than generic hazes. i also really liked it's precise body control effect. it's only my 4th favorite strain after trippier and fruitier strains, but it's so 24/7 friendly, i'd be happy with just that on a desert island. i'd imagine satori is even better if it's twice the price. hashberry is VERY popular. i decided to try it myself, but i don't do stinky strains, so i cut it down early. odor control is necessary for that one! i'm not 100% certain, but i think it had a pretty functional euphoric buzz i found agreeable, but i just have no use for high odor strains. i give those away when i get freebies. mandala's gear is especially famous for being hearty and noob friendly. if you want something easy to grow, get mandala. most of his gear is cheap too. satori is probably his most expensive strain because it's his best and the one he's most proud of. if it's better than 8 miles, it's gotta be awesome!
