Benghazi: Four Americans Die, Obama Trapped In Lies.

I've only met stupid a few times and this may be one of those times......one of those times that you meet stupid and there's nothing much to do but consider how stupid stupid can be.....stupid can be really fucking stupid.....really

really?!?!

Obama says Benghazi was terror in Rose Garden, and then it was a video tape, and now we are back to a terror attack...... for now.

^^^^And according to mr graham, we should still be in Iraq? @5:44 to end......sounds like BS since Bush took us out of Iraq with his exit time-table

And we'll leave Afghanistan at Obama's exit time-table

these wars cost too much

Obama has been taking credit for Iraq. He can't have it both ways. So which is it? Bush cannot be responsible for our foreign policy still. The world is always changing. If the president never has to take responsibility for anything, what kind of a leader does that make him? Is he not the Commander in Chief of our armed forces?

each new detail that comes out makes the situation look a little bit worse. Great Britain had recently pulled out because of the threats and we were the last flag standing. All other embassies had closed because of the dangerous situation and we had no security there. This needs to be explained better than the GOP cut funding. The French embassy has an entire platoon of marines.

The state department was watching video in real time. They saw when our Ambassador walked out a guest an hour before the attack and there were no protests. Why they insisted on saying there was very strong evidence this was about a video released in June causing a mass riot. The anniversary of 9/11 was just a coincidence. I've read that the CIA was able to identify the faction of Al Qaeda that was involved and what village they come from. If Obama can go covert on their ass and drone bomb the killers he'll score major political points. I don't know if it would be enough to overcome all of the negative about this bump in the road.

^^ Iraq is not so much Obama's responsibility while Afghanistan is, IMHO. That is since Obama escalated the Afgan war...... Bush was a warmonger who got us in this position in the first place........Now Bush lives in a rich neighborhood in my home of dallas.....at least you peeps don't live down the street from Dubya Bush! One day, Obama will live like a rich cat, too....He'll have his own library!!

So if I got this right, you're saying Obama wants all of the power with none of the responsibility, and all of the reward with none of the risk. Do I got that about right? If Obama is in over his head like I think you're saying he is. Then he should just step aside. Cry Bush is not good foreign policy. I just don't see how blaming Bush for Obama's decisions is going to make us any safer.

^^^ No, I'm saying the Iraq war was Bush's war and even tho the Afghan war was started by Bush, it has become Obama's war

Bush put a time-table on Iraq...and yes, Obama tries to take credit for what happened in Iraq while he is in office, for sure......but Bush started the war

At least Obama will put a time-table ending for Afghanistan, too

The request for more security was for the embassy in Tripoli not the consulate. The group responsible is anti western and attacked the Italian embassy in 2006 for a similar perceived "insult" to Islam.

"No one is ruling out the idea that some of the attackers may have aspired to attack the U.S. in Benghazi. However, right now, there isn’t any intelligence that the attackers pre-planned their assault days or weeks in advance. The bulk of available information supports the early assessment that the attackers launched their assault opportunistically after they learned about the violence at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo. Of course, other factors may also have motivated participation in the attack."

This whole faux outrage by republicans is political non-sense. I'm sure next they're say the attackers in Libya are linked to whitewater since Clinton is secretary of state.

It is a highly political issue. and rightly so.

if my neighbor promotes false information i can get past that. i still want to know why.

when the president purposefully withholds information then offers contradicting fabrications
the public at large should be interested to know the full truth. not just what some want to hear.

Are you that partisan or just can't come to the realization that our president tried to pull the wool over our eyes? The BS excuse that it's a Fox news exclusive only shows your blindness, it's been covered by every major news source on the planet, yet you try to defend this disgusting act of politics over country the same way the president is. It's beyond shameful IMO

What about Al-Quida popping up in western Iraq with terror training camps. Who's war is that?

Its not Bush vs Obama,.. its America vs Al-Quida.

If you read the article it actually supports the presidents position.

yes let us exploit all avenues to get to the why and what else may still be under the iceberg.

Creed has no part in the finding of fact.

"The intelligence community on Friday once again modified its assessment of what caused the deadly terror attack last month on the consulate in Benghazi, Libya – returning in part to claims that the violence was in reaction to a protest at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo over an anti-Islam film.

At the same time, the latest assessment acknowledged there was no actual protest in Benghazi at the time of the attack and that “extremist” elements were likely involved."

I just don't believe it would take well over a month for intelligence officials to come out with this.
Had it been a couple of days after the attack I could wrap my head around it, but six weeks is way to long.
