it's actually very relevant.
you see, a racist member of this website claimed that your opinion doesn't count unless you are paying taxes.
a lawnmower pushing kiddo joined with him in agreement.
i contend otherwise. i contend that economic insights do not vanish once gainful employment does.
and you have yet to justify your assertion that knowledge magically vanishes by uttering the phrase "i quit".
there's still time, kiddo! convince me that the words "i quit" function as some sort of knowledge erasing wunderphrase.

Goats eat grass, which is free.
If you give them food stamps they'll spend it all on alcohol...you've been warned.
Depends how "Top" is defined ...I would think his opinion would be worth more if he is no longer working for someone else. If this is about Paul Krugman or Peter Schiff then no, they are both dousche faces that work for 'The Man'...decides to quit his job to pursue his butterfly catching hobby, are his economic insights suddenly useless?
yes or no.

LMAO You still trying to justify laziness?
no, i'm mocking your simple minded nature, clayton.
You still trying to get people on disability young buck?
it's actually very relevant.

The argument is complicated by the fact many treadmill producers/salesmen WOULD infact pay taxes, but to do so when your product is "federally regulated" would be pretty dumb.Lets set the record straight Bucky.
First of all, I never said you shouldn't have an opinion on fiscal policies just because you currently do not pay federal income taxes. Instead, I'm trying to tell you that you have no moral ground ripping apart others for not paying more taxes than they already do!
It's one thing to give an opinion, it's another thing calling people vile names while they are paying taxes and you choose to pay nothing, if that's not hypocritical, I don't know what is.
Every one of us should have the right to our own opinion whether we pay into the system or are on the other end of taking it out.
There are many left leaning people on this site that do an honest days work and pay their taxes, I respect their opinion even if I disagree with them. These people have skin in the game and their opinion is just as valid as mine, but someone who voluntarily chooses not to work and not pay taxes would be better served by being a bit more humble in their rhetoric IMO.
Economists are the witch doctors of our age. cn
