I have this dj short blueberry plant, a buddy of mine grew it out from clone, and man it was rock hard, huge calyxs and smelled like straight up blueberry. My friend turned me on to the caregiver from whom he had gotten his cuts from. When I went to the caregiver, he had a blueberry of his own finishing and it looked identical to my buddies (rock hard, huge calyxs, heavy blueberry smell), an identical plheno to my buddies. So I acquired a clone, it was staked with a popsickle stick that said dj short and a date, so I thought good to go. Well...... exactlly 30 days into flower and this plant which is diffenently not blueberry is nothing but pistils and no calyxs. Its just know starting to show signs of trichs, anyone have any experience with heavy pistil plants? Im assuming these will finish light and airy. Not happy, any feed back appreciated. Oh btw, my buddies finished in 49 days with rocks so unless this thing goes into overdrive in the next 3 weeks I will be proof positive that the caregiver gave me mystery meat. FLAMMING!

Well, first off, you obviously haven't been doing your daily ritualistic grow dance, let alone your personal rock garden meditation. You want to dress like a ninja and practice your breathing techniques (usually done while smoking a spliff). You want to do this right next to your plant so you blow the carbon dioxide into the plant and feed it your living essence. This will allow the plant to pick up on your chemical make up and make the marijuana traits more desirable to you the grower. This is done through a connection between you and the plant. And yes, while doing your daily dance grunting is encouraged, while singing and pansy moaning like a girl will make your plants want to kill themselves and usually wind up blocking their own receptors inside their roots to a nutrient ( most often nitrogen and magnesium) in order to commit said suicide. Your plant (being a woman) loves being handled, she loves being handled a bit rough as well. An example of this is LST, which is like a form of spanking the plant in order for it to be a stand up and potent plant, and not easily be pushed over by wind, or weighed down by the buds. After foreplay a woman wants some good sexing, and this is where we tease her a bit, being all hot and horny all it takes is rubbing or licking of the pistils in order to get her off. When you have mastered all these techniques, she will be dripping with THC, just waiting for you to harvest her buds, and you will feel like a god among children.

Hahaha I don't have any money at all, just have 2 plants outside in miracle soil or whatever, covered in neem oil. I'm actually in debt 100 bucks currently lol
So I just chill here since I can't join in on the indoor growing fun

It's all good all growers start somewhere. Shit my first plant was just placed in the middle of my moms lawn. She was pissed. But made me grow it out. Mom is old school hippy.

Haha same here man, my mom lived in the fkn wilderness for 2 years, said it was boring as fuck. I've been getting in more hours than normal to hopefully get a light so I can start growing indoor. I'd use miracle grow as well, but maybe i'd be able to get a single vegitative, flowering, and bud growth nutrients. Aiming for this month to make it happen. It would grow in my room, with light leaks, window open 24/7, colder nights i'll just have the window cracked but always with air flow. Who knows man. I haven't looked into enough indoor growing to really understand the whole nutrient aspect.
No took it outside real quick before hps went out, so I could get a good pic of it, however in arizona right now the nights are 60 and the day is 85 so outside right now is not to bad, last year I did some sensi skunk one about this time it was great. My buddy flowers all the way thru winter outside, he does bring them in at night thou. The only thing is that its 32 days now and my buddies was done at 49 days. dj short does say some of his prior to flo blueberry had extremely fast finishes, so I dont know my friend, it baffles me, so what it goes abother 30 days it could turn out to be bomb? I just have never seen so much pistil before with no sign of anything else

You know they say 'there's no smoke without fire', well 'there's no pistils without calyx'.

Floranova bloom, floralicious sweetner, cal mag, superthrive, gravity
the ak and the ssh are 2 other strains that are a week ahead and on the same nuts schedule and they look bomberliscious. Ofcourse the blue b could be a nutrient pig too, but neither my buddy or the caregiver ran that much more than my schedule, I mean im sure there is a gammit of other things I could be using but so far out of 9 strains flowered they all have seem to have done well on those nuts
These plants below are the ones a week ahead, of course diff strains, the super silver omn the right is massy and thick, notice the large forearm holding it up, and the ak on the left actually shows signs of burn at the tips, I flushed the shit out of it and its still growing like a banshee, she has some purple in it too. I never make a decision before drying trimming and curing but the ssh and the ak grow good

Yeah man she looks good. The more pistals or hairs the fatter she'll be when she starts swelling, thats a good thing. Have some BB going too. Smells so sweet. I tried a small nute amount, [1/2] strength a few days ago and she does not like it. Showing signs of def. and lockouts. She was going perfect now I have to mess with it a whole lot more to get it good again. I should of just left it alone.lol. My clones are even worse, they've been in stasis ever since with purple stocks and yellowing leaves.
The smell on these are incredible but not going to try these no more, pain in the ass.

I dont count til after the stretch and when the 1st pistals start appearing. Others count the day of flip. So technically mine would finish 2weeks faster than someone who counts at the flip. This BB is day 22 of 12-12.

mine is day 32 since flip, so was my buddies, ironically I was there when he put the hps bulb in, yours looks good, I was to told to use 5 to 10 ml of calmag per gal with bb to avoid yellowing, it never did

I dont have much experience and having only grown 9 strains to flower this really wacks me out whats going on with this one, so we thought that we could get some answers at this nice web site.

Well ours all hairs with no vegetive matter at all. Maybe you can explain it more in detail, because we dont know about zero density flowers that are only comprised of pistils. We would be very interested in what you have to offer us in your knowledge, you seem to be intelligent about mmj, but please do it with a little love for your neighbor.

Haha, I just said that it's perfectly normal. People sometimes pay more to get really hairy buds as well. So it's kind of like a "treat" for some people. Some people don't understand the 90's. It happens.

Pistils cant grow w/o calyx even if they are small.my plants have huge calyxes and small pistils wanna trade lol
