You need some decent intake and outtake inline fans to cool down the wattage man, just passive airflow and a fan will not cool that lil tent down enough.. maybe buy yaself 2x 4" inline fans.. :weed:

i wouldn't be worried until you get to the mid 90s then you have a problem, jorge cervantes says 87 max with out co2 for optimum growing conditions, i dont think 1 degree over will hurt to much.

Goin to sound stupid but what is inline fans and would they go in the ducting to draw cold air from window also I thought ideal temp was 26c

An inline fan is simply a fan that is positioned in the duct line to propel air, they make 2 different types centrifugal and booster, booster fans are not very good for moving air on their own they are made to boost the speed of the air on long duct runs when the duct stretches far away from its primary propulsion system.

I have a old wolfnado-100mm-2-speed-fan could I not use this for sucking air from the outside &blowing it in2 the tent would this be the same as inline fans cheers

That is an inline fan and yes you could use it but it might be counter productive, air pressure is a finicky thing and that fan does not look like it is made to be boosted if you put that inline and your other fan has no other source of intake air it could just restrict the air that your bigger fan is trying to pull out and make your heat issue worse, that is if you had a heat issue you are trying to fix a problem that quite simply does not exist man...

So sorry but don't get what you said is it if I put that in then it will only be sending in the amount of air it's pulling where as the extractor will be sucking out more than is goin in is that correct what u ment if so is that y I may need a proper inline fan as it would blow in more air sorry for not understanding

Nah, you are right dood, just get the same strengfth inline fan that you have now to push 'fresh cool air' in then your filter and other fan will pull it out/exhaust it..

BUT.. have you taken temps in different hieghts in the tent? i.e. is that temp from the canopy, the base of the pots, top of the tent? Ask yourself, do you just need more fans inside the tent to circulate air and blow on your bulb? also, is your reflector hood a standard type?

Reflector is standard I take the temp from half way up inside the tent,ok well I may try a stronger fan for inside 1st as will be cheaper if that works, where do most people get there temps from is the middle ok would you say cheers

You want to get your temperature readings from canopy level.

I ALWAYS MEASURE MY TEMP JUST ABOVE THE CANOPY ADN JUST BELOW THE CANOPY... YOU COULD HANG A THERMOMETER FROM THE CEILING TO MAKE SURE THAT IT STAYS IN THE SAME SPOT.. sorry about the caps... lol

and in my opinion your temps are fine 88 wont be too bad..keep the air movin and that combined with the higher temps will also inhibit high humidity and mildew proneness.

In my situation i cannot run my lights during the day(temps).. therefore my flower room runs from 7pm to 7am and my veg rooms run from 6pm-12pm so in the heat of the day its nighttime and the bulbs arent heating up already warm air. so i dont have to run any a/c in my veg rooms, but i have a 8000BTU portable a/c for my flower room to cool off my 2x600s and 1000 watter

Sorry what is canopy level is that the inside top
canopy level is the top of your plants. the highest point on them.. mainly we try to have a "even and full canopy" so we can maximize our real estate that we are payin pg&e to light up.
