I have a old wolfnado-100mm-2-speed-fan could I not use this for sucking air from the outside &blowing it in2 the tent would this be the same as inline fans cheers
That is an online fan, your 150mm carbon fan should be two speed, use that as extraction on full blast, noisy! But effective, your 100mm walfanado fan ducted to a fresh air source is fine too,get an oscillating fan, minimum 12" to move the stale air and get a decent sized piece of cardboard to shade your thermometer,I'm guessing your problem lies in the fact your thermometer is directly exposed to yours lights radiant heat, thermometers are made to measure ambient(air) temperature, radiant heat heats the plastic throwing your reading sky high. I have similar sized tent with 2 600w hps, 150mm two speed carbon exhaust and a 125mm intake from window, shielded my thermometer and air temps are roughly 75f-85f depending on outside temp and what setting I switch exhaust too. You'll see! You'll probably not have to use intake once you shield thermometer!, not until your canopy fills the tent, you do need oscillating fan though. Good growing, Kenny ken.
