I didnt get mine from a club either, i got mine from a friend/clone vendor in Socal. Im 90% sure Its the forum cutt and the 10% is me waiting to flower 18 of her next month.
Like i said, pics help. So your saying urs is diff from everyones. We lets see it? Im curious. You first asked help on this thread to find even the thin mints and now you get a pheno of GSC that you think no one has and wont even do the pleasure of showing us dried bud shots? Or even flower?

Please explain in as much detail as you can how there are hundreds of different, legitimate clones of GSC floating around in the world. Everybody seems to have the real GSC but they all seem to be different yet they are all still GSC. I've been watching the development of the GSC phenomenon for a many months and I believe that the hype and bullshit has almost peaked, though I could be very wrong and the jive might continue as more poor souls become enmeshed in this sad game of one-upmanship.

If you haven't even flowered it yet then you're not sure at all. Everyone who has a cut of GSC is 100% convinced theirs is "thin mints", nearly all of them are wrong.
Mine probably doesn't look any different than another pheno I have which is more commonly floating around. The difference is the smell/taste/potency. I can't take a picture of that.
Here's the picture from the lab test, but it won't help unless you can somehow smell through your computer.
Don't know what your "hmm" is all about. I have absolutely nothing to prove to you.

Because it's NOT a clone only strain and the phenos very ALOT. All look sort of similar, but smell and taste very different.
I dunno. A pheno that gives me 28.5% cannabinoid content on any outdoor strain can't really be considered hype. It's legitimately an elite strain if you've got the right pheno.

I've got cuts from several different people all with that same story. Each cut they gave me was completely different. It's impossible to know if that's thin mints unless you go right to the hemp center and compare it with theirs.

It's pretty simple. The breeder released hundreds of seeds originally, and the folks who received the seeds each grew out different phenos, and took cuts. The strain was high value, so the cuts were pimped around. There's really nothing tricky about it.

You can see flowering pics of my GSC which I've already harvested and cured several pages back in this thread. I decided that it's not a keeper strain for me, so I'm not running it anymore. Just like you shouldn't be running your mouth anymore.

I've posted plenty of pics in this thread, more than I'm comfortable posting really. I do this for a living, so security is a priority. For that reason I'm not posting a lab report. I can't go back in time and take more pictures of a plant I've already cut down.

As I've said, I'm a professional who's made a living at this for a long time. I'm just here to help and discuss things with other growers. If you don't like my posts feel free to ignore them.
I vend to a number of very large dispensaries so I make my rounds and I always check out what they have on the shelf. I can actually look at buds and form opinions about the strains.
Well you're 90% wrong then. There is no way to know for sure until you grow it out. I don't care how legit you think your friend of a friend is.

The strain was only worth that kind of money because dispensaries were paying 4k a pack for it. Now that the major clone cutters are selling it everywhere, dispensaries aren't paying that. However anything cookies still does move quick and dispensaries love it, so it's worth having. It's a damn good strain, but it's not the only good strain out there. Of course people will move on to the new hyped strain, but that won't happen for a little while at least.

I hear ya on all counts, it's good medicine and people are willing to pay for it.
I just don't like this whole concept of charging outrageous prices for genetics.
Maybe i'm an idealist, but wouldn't it make more sense to try and spread the goodstuff to as many people as possible by delivering the genes at decent prices? More good bud around.
I understand that breeders want to keep their name attached and want to make a healthy profit, but $1,000 for 6cuts? JESUS! That's greedy.
Not for me thanks. I'd rather spend the time, energy, and money creating my own unique fire that is more intune with what I like then dropping heavy dough on the OG-cut-of-the-month.
