This is my first grow and ive done my research on what my problem is and its a PH problem. I dont have anyway 2 test and see what the level is but im thinkin its 2 high just becuz....its medium is jus wal-mart potting soil and good ol U.S.A dirt...like said its showing all the signs of a ph problem...how can i lower this with a product around the house or with something at my local feed supply....live in ohio and there is no hydro shop around here 2 purchase the common plant needs...so again what can i use???? its goin into the 3rd week of flower.....

ok....thanks this is now on the top of my grocery list 4 the week..lol....and scroglodyte can i jus go into the feed supply store and jus buy pure sulfur????

im sorry but how much do i use to lower it say it 7.6-7.8 range i want it at 7.0-7.2 range correct?? how many oz per gallon changes the level per point???

The real question is, are you sure it's a pH problem? Superstoner gave you great if compact advice: pH testing can be done on the cheap. Scrog usually gives sterling advice, but this time I'll dare to disagree. Sulfur is a long-lasting pH-lowering agent, and if your problem is not high pH, you'll be doing more harm than good. So I suggest: test first; decide on a strategy once test results are in hand. Jmo. cn

For dirt, and noobs (or busy people), another option is a pH buffer for fish tanks, find one thats 6.5, and use it in your waterings, helps, and super easy.

Otherwise, its best to prepare soil with a pH buffer already in it, like lime. Next time!
