I made this thread from my own experiences. If you disagree...well you're entitled to you opinion. This is my PERSONAL assesment and I hope it helps newbie indoor growers 
24/0 - 24/0 means exactly that. It is when during veg you leave your light on all day everyday until flowering. Why would you want to do this? Well some people believe:
1 - More light = faster growth
2 - When flowering from a 24/0 grow your plants will flower faster
Now number one is completely wrong. It is actually almost the complete opposite - plants (like you and me) NEED REST. There has been times coming back to my grow closet after darkness where they have grown DRAMATICALLY! If you want to experiment yourself...take two plants of the same strain and sex, 18/6 and 24/0. In the same amount of time you will notice the 18/6 to be MUCH bigger.
Now...as for number two. This is actually true. It will start to flower a bit faster.
Now ofc you can use whatever amount of time you want. 21/3 22/2 etc. Me personally....I found 18/6 to give best growing results in veg. But if yu are willing to sacrifice yield for time 24/0 is probably for you. Just make sure if you are vegging to stay over 12/12. I personalyl would say over 14/10 just to be safe. But too much darkness isn't good.
