sorry to hear that. You actually got hit by the hard part. Hurricanes can be huge but its really just the top right quadrant that totally destroys things.
Exactly right. Worst part. My family didn't take Hurricanes serious until Ivan. We had Erin and Opal that I remember being the worst in the 90s, But the CAT4 will really wake you up. And it was in the middle of the night too which made it even more erie. Watching all the transformers Blow up and light up the sky was a real spectacle. It was literally like a fireworks show in my neighborhood. I hate hurricanes lol.

Haha well Im not ready to die yet. 165MPH wind gusts will really make you have a new respect for storms.
Yeah I'm prolly just not thinking about it but stil feel the need for some reason, but again.....protective bubble comes to mind.

I think the same thing about tornados, never experienced one but they scare me more since they can pick you up hundreds of feet. I would however would like to be I some kind of protective bubble and try it.
I had a tornado dream last night ... the first in years. I've had tornado dreams since childhood, and they tend to be awesome and not nightmares. In last night's dream, the base of a rope-style twister was maybe half a mile away and coming at me. I went indoors to get the camera ... and woke up. Dang.

I have no urge to see a hurricane up close (except maybe the eye, or from above in a U-2 or equivalent), but tornadoes fascinate me. I'd love to see one, along with an aurora storm, a total solar eclipse, and a truly great comet, the sort that shows in the daytime sky. cn

LOL I used to have nightmares about tornadoes. Usually they consisted of more than one funnel cloud and I would be cut off from shelter. I hate that. :(

Yeah I would like to go with some professional chasers, like that one show....um forgot the name but they have these armored trucks and their own radar thing. Saw the first 2 seasons on a DVD I had from the library and I would trust them to go on a chase or 2.

Some of my best dreams combined tornadoes and the beach. Five, six funnels of different taxonomies (from thread to demon's hoof) offshore, and closer in ... awesome surf. Sixty, eighty feet of perfect curl, and the whole beach boomed and shivered. I'm not sure why, but my surf dreams tend toward ultra-realism with water shapes and reflections.
Mind you, sometimes I find myself trying to outrun the mother of all beach waves, and things get dreamslow. But usually they are among my favorite dreams.

The undiscovered country: combining dreams about tornadoes with flying. Unassisted. Yo, subconscious!! Serving Suggestion. cn
