Periodic LED light flash

1st one i wanna ask about total darkness in 12h dark period during flowering. All say plants need total darkness when lights goes off in same time talk about nature and forests. Then I have a question - when da hell moon disapeared!?
Now real question - i have a sensor in my closet

so you can see there is small led light which periodically (not sure but mby every 1-2mins) flashes when sensor sending data to receiver. In day time you almost cant see that but when lights goes off you can clearly see that flash even if on the light is duct tape. So it will be a problem during 12/12?

plants grown indoors will become more succeptable to small lights causing issues than outdoor plants. anything in my room with a power indicaator light gets tape over it.

I just really don't know how that sensor works and don't wanna fully tape em - mby it will show wrong temps/humid if i put to much tape on it.

Real problem is that fcking light goes throut that plastic! Even if I glue small metal sheet on top of light I still can see that flash ;( And that fcking thing looks like glued - I can't open and cut led wires:cuss:I just dont wanna break it because these sensors are hard to find and they are pricely! Fuuck...

hmm I got idea! what if I drill out that fucking led? :D But if led bulb is fixed on chip I can drill in it and thats means "game over" 4 sensor or mby that thing wont work without led but thats unlikely
