1 plant SCROG, 1st grow

Hello,
I would like to run my plan for my first grow by all you experienced growers out there;

What I Have:

4x4x7 tent
600w hps w/ square reflector, air cooled
1 waterfarm bucket hydroponic system (one only)
A SCROG made from 2x2 stud's and chicken wire built to cover my 4x4 area
Reverse Osmosis water (store bought)

The Plan Thus Far:

I will grow only one plant (clone) starting under a 600w metal halide switching to HPS for flower.
I will use the 'super cropping' and pinching techniques to expand the plant horizontally as far as possibly in my 4x4 area.
Come time to flower i will mount some CFLs to the frame of my SCROG to get some light under the buds.

What Advice I Need:

1. Will I be able to get a higher yeild out of this single plant, using this method, than i would be able to out of many plants? If many plants is better, knowing my setup, how many??

2. Should I add another 600watt hps and/or mh to my setup? If so should i use an additional cooltube?

3. Under acceptable to exceptional conditions what would you expect my yeild to be?

4. Can you think of anything better for my 4x4x7 tent?

Any comments, questions, or advice welcome.

Thank you

I think you are missing the point of choosing scrog.

You veg a plant until its approximately 10" tall.

Its up to you if you top it.

Then you place your screen over the plant. Then you continue to veg the plant and with each new growth that pops above the screen you place it back under and keep doing this with each new growth that pops up until you have approximately 75% of the screen filled with plant. Then you switch to 12/12 and continue filling the screen until its 100% full.

Then after approximately 2 weeks of 12/12 you trim any growth that's under the screen. To create space under the screen.

Using this method it's easy to accomplish 0.5g per watt. Or 300g.

Technique experience and feeding schedule will help to generate more g/w.

4x4 is just enough for a 600w. Ideally 3.5x3.5 area with a 600w.

If you check my sig link I used to use a 600w over a wilma 4 pot with 4 plants and I was pulling nearly 400g. Then I got busted lol and they had all my stuff.

Yield is governed by alot of factors. The main factors being
1.strain
2. Environmental control
3. Feeding.

If you can get all these dialed in then yield will follow.

I got a 4x4 box and I'm gonna make a 3x3 screen in the center and grow herbs and some veggies around the edge.

I had 4 plants and a clone. Got given a caution.

They said in their report that I had 4 mature plants. Lol I was 10days into 12/12.

if you check the setup I was using in my sig link you'll see what equipment they took from me.

Totalled around £700 in equipment.

i would be a para mess lol.
i got told that if you have 3 plants they class it as personnel, dont know if it works like that though.

Actually since the 27th Feb 2012 anything under 9 plants will still receive a caution but generally no court appearance. Obviously this still has some mitigating circumstances to it. But majority of first offences with less than 9 should be just a caution.
