and i agree with the post above.. you cant even tell the people you trust because when it comes to something like this, its a new level of trust... one that you can barely achieve yourself, much less letting someone else in it...

good man... Now I gotta find a way to avoid friends till they forget. I fucked up too I let I couple friends know. I know I'm a dumb ass. But I was excited and figure I'm within my limits so... after my bike got jacked 2weeks ago, I dnt trust at all anymore ( as I should of already. ) I've been teaching shit to them but after I hook them up with cuts I'm gonna dissappear into the darkness for a while. Plus I think I'm gonna move and they're not gonna see my op after that.

That sucks man. I hope you learned your lesson, just like i did!!

Mine did, it was "merc" (short for commercial). I wasn't quite sure of what it was til some of my friends came over and went nucking futz.
And when I was really little and I discovered my folks and uncle smokin' up, they told me it was turkey feathers. I wondered why anyone would want to smoke turkey feathers, but then again they wanted to smoke cigarettes and at least turkey feathers smell better. And I told them so. They laughed their asses off and I couldn't figure out what was so funny, back then.

I've been growing for quite some time now and I tell NO ONE! My second youngest who is 11 came to me last night and asked what I was growing. She knows I grow all different types of plants but she noticed something different about these ones. She asked what they were and I told her they were "Maples Trees". She asked why they are growing in the closet and not outside and I told her they will have to be transplanted in a couple of months because they will be too big for the house then. lol She bought my story, told me I was an awesome mom 'cause I'm helping the earth. I'll be harvesting my 5 beautiful Jack Herer's in about 7 weeks now... right about the time the "Maple Trees" will leave the closet... lol My next grow will have to be elsewhere in the house now - with a padlocked door!

unless you child has autism(god forbid) and doesnt speak to anyone besides you, expect someone to know. Good luck.

For starters GiantEthiopian, I am NOT a bad parent just because my daughter "found" my grow room. And she did not "find" my grow room, it just happens to be the same room I start all my plants in whether they be regular outside plants or my weed. How the hell does that make me a bad parent?? I am now, and have been, an avid gardener for many years and I use the same lighting system for all my plant species. Take a look at your own postings here... I guess maybe you're a bad brother 'cause you're sister ratted you out to her friends. Who's still growing the weed man... me or you????

And as for you Seamaiden, lol, I wish my own mother grew weed when I was eleven as well... that would have been way too cool back then.

And no my daughter does not have autism 40acres. She is an unbelievably bright young lady and she knows what harvested marijuana looks and smells like but doesn't know at this point what it looks like as an actual plant. Her two older siblings smoke it and she is aware that it is an illegal substance but she is also aware that she is not to tell anyone that her siblings are smokers. I will say that this child has been raised to respect herself, myself, her siblings and all other persons private business. I think all children should be taught at a young age what is appropriate to talk about and what is not and that gossip and hearsay do nothing but cause trouble needlessly.

my friend and i have both been smoking regularly for medical reasons ( and because getting high just fucking rocks =D) her for MS and me for a chronic eye disease...

her daughter has just turned 13 today and has always been taught that what we do is wrong according to the law but is right because it helps us deal with our conditions better than anything we get from the doctors and that real drugs ie. meth, herion, coke, etc. are not good for you like herb is, and can actually kill you while herb could never kill you...

she knows damn well what would happen if she told anyone because one of her schoolmates told on his parents and they were arrested and he was sent to foster care...

children are always going to get into what theyre not supposed to, thats the nature of the beast, being honest with them is the only way to go in my opinion....

I didn't tell her exactly what the plants in question were because she doesn't need to know that at this point in time. The answer I gave her about them being trees satisfied her and that is all that mattered at that moment. She will know in time what they really are but now is not the time.

lol... hey I like that name... "Weed Mom"
I grow mostly Jack Herer... and it is some awesome weed too. I've been experimenting with this crop and so far so good. Jack is normally a very tall plant but I've got them down to about 3ft total height with not alot of bushing out through cloning and experimentation and two of them are nothing but bud from head to toe, covered in crystal and stinking to high heaven... lol The other 3 are doing very well but not as many bud sites as I had hoped. Will be harvesting in a few more weeks and I can't wait. I have a digicam but I can't transfer to the comp because I lent my usb cord for it to a friend and it hasn't returned yet. As soon as I have it back I will post some eye candy for you. Working on experimenting with some new clones as well. I'll let you know how they turn out. Take care my friend.
